You know I went back and re-watched the Silurian ep (well the second half anyway) and it was still rather weak overall but it was better than I remember it. Anyway, I too am easy to please. The worst thing a story can do is bore me... or use age makeup, poorly (I hate that). Other than that though, I'm pretty easy. As for the Doctor wanting to hug the Silurian scientist... yeah, that was a bit of a stretch. But then it wasn't as bad as Six in Medicinal Purposes, was it? as for spoilery stuff: LOL at that dialogue clocket! Man, now I really really want to see that episode. And maybe them being in a mirror universe happens in Gaiman's episode too? There was a line in the BBCA trailer about looking through mirrors. Might explain why Time Lords suddenly exist. I'm gonna have to check out the Nazi storyline thing on that site now too. I do hope though, that Moffat's taking the Doctor on dark alleys doesn't have anything to do with the Doctor having to decide not to kill Hitler or something like that; I hope it's just a backdrop. Honestly he'd better come up with something better than that...

!!! JJ, that makes me squee like you don't even KNOW. Well, you probably do know, but EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
I agree though Eve, that would be weak and uncomfortable. Here's hoping against it...
Oh! Another spoiler:
Some people at a con got to see a clip of the Gaiman episode. Apparently Eleven arrive on the graveyard planet and meets a group of people including an Ood with a broken speech bubble. The Doctor fixes the bubbles and all of these voices come out leaving the Doctor terrified until they stop. The Doctor is then all... "Those were Time Lord voices, there are Time Lords here..." Or, I'm guessing from everything else, TARDISes.
And apparently the planet is called "The Room" or something like that? It's creepy as all get out in any case.
Oh, and just to squee again: RORY PUNCHING NAZIS AND THEN RIDING AWAY ON A MOTOR BIKE OMG!!! THAT IS EPIC AWESOME~!!!
...there are also two Amy's in that Nazi episode. I've seen pictures of Amy and stunt!Amy on a motorbike together. This whole mirror!verse theory seems more and more likely...
Wait. If it is a mirror!verse... is River the Doctor's alt?

Hm, about now is when I think I should stop reading spoilers. I don't want to know anything about Two Amys and will probably do my best to forget that bit!

Right now would be good Eve as the one below is SUPERHUGE and STRAIGHT FROM MOFFAT!!! ** www.kasterborous.com/2011/04/moffat-hints-whos-dead/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter** Go read, come back, discuss! ** I KNEW IT WE ALL[/u] knew it, somebody is going to die, here's the rub though, we've seen all FOUR filming latter episodes, so it almost has to be River again, somehow, because we jump about her timestream and a younger River could potentially pop in, but we already saw her die so it makes no sense, unless, like that spoiler of yore (the one since unfindable that laid out the next three to five years of who) the one that said Neil would write an episode and that the Doctor would be trapped in a dead spaceship in earth orbit and there were cracks in the universe (I sooo wish I could find this damned thing again) but it DID say they would be in a parallel universe for at least part of one season and that Jenny would return, well according to IMBD Jenny IS back just not the Georgia Moffat incarnation, so it all remains to be seen I reckon, still HOLY HELL!!!![/color]**

Ha I don't believe it for a second. EVERYBODY died last year! My only guess is that it will not be in the form we expect. My money's on River or Amy for the "death", whatever that may be. Rory died twice last year; it really shouldn't become that much of a habit!
Hm, maybe there is more than one River Song?

I haven't had enough time to properly get my head round the trailers yet, so anything I spout could likely be rubbish. Anyway. ** Just got back from lurking at Gallifrey Base (bad for the health, I know), and apparently some new poster has a friend who read the fourth episode's script, and he/she "confirmed" (if you call posting on a public forum with FoaF bits confirmation, idk) that the Doctor's wife is indeed the TARDIS, "kind of." I guess it's Idris, some manifestation of the TARDIS designed to help him through ... something, I have no idea.
I think I can get behind the idea of a parallel universe; honestly, with all that's supposed to go on, I don't see how they can do everything without resorting to a multiverse perspective. I hope they don't excuse it away with that "time can be rewritten" bollocks, although part of me grimly expects it to be so. Then again, I may be giving Moffat too little credit. Parallel (I always muck up the spelling of that word) universes would explain evil!Amy on the motorbike, SithLord!Doctor, and one of the leads being offed. Though it does seem a cheap way to do it. Kinda. **

HOLY @#!!&%!!! * Or to put it another way - HTF is that going to work?! I don't believe it's going to be Amy or Rory, not after they both "died" in the course of S5. I know Moffat likes repeating himself sometimes, but surely not to that extent? So, I guess that leaves River and Eleven... Hang on, though, we already know how River dies! Although, time can apparently be rewritten... My snap guess - it's Eleven who's going to die, but it will involve parallel univere twirly-whirliness and clones and stuff so it will end up not being a "permanent" or "real" death...
Or it could be River, I suppose, with the time has been rewritten thing, because while I think she's in more than one ep in S6, there's no reason why the River from the later eps can't be from before her death in her personal timeline, if you see what I mean.
Another reason why the death won't be Amy - she's the one who does the killing (her shooting someone in the trailer).
All wild guesswork on my part - we will see, I gues...
Moffat, toying with us! Like the Celestial Toymaker or something, but more Scottish! *

Perhaps Amy shoots a future version of herself...

** Unfortunately, I really think they are going to make Amy into River, and I really feel as if that's a cop-out. The spoilers thus far seem really exciting and from what I am led to understand from these it seems the first episode is heavily laden with clues as to the rest of the series, and MANY are saying watch SUPER carefully, I really hope it isn't a let-down, otherwise I'll be planted firmly in an anti-Moffat camp, le sigh**

* Hmm, maybe Amy does shoot a future version of herself...
Amy as River? I don't know about cop-out, but it would certainly be out of leftfield. It's one of those ideas that I've seen bandied about the place but have always dismissed as weird fan speculation, but the eccentric slant to some of the S6 spoilers I've seen makes me start to think that anything is possible. I'm just wondering how Moffat would reconcile River dying at this point with the idea of her having died the very first time we saw her, without it seeming like blatant cheating and retconning his own story.
To be honest, though, as I was saying last night, Moffat would have to do something really, really drastic for one of his stories to annoy me more than Journey's End or End of Time. ;D Seriously, I know I sound like some sort of pathetic apologist for the man sometimes, but I couldn't get over just how much I enjoyed S5 compared to the soul-destroying chore that was watching the last year or so of Ten. As always, just imho *

1) The likelihood of her being Romana is so small as to be almost non-existent, so I don't really wonder about that 2) No, I want the TARDIS to be the TARDIS. I don't like it when she's turned humanoid.

I'm an absolute Zagreus nut and have a soft spot a mile wide for anthropomorphic TARDIS stories. I love the book canon (which I've never read mind) of the TARDIS appearing to her passengers as a small silver cat. ;D
In any case, if the TARDIS thing is right, it can only lead to MORE Doctor/TARDIS fic which, in my opinion, can only be a good thing. The fact that it's the Mona Lisa woman however doesn't impress me much.**

Well, I suppose I'd be able to handle it as long as it wasn't you-know-who, but I still don't like the idea of Doctor/TARDIS romance in the literal sense

* Well, I assume she'd be like a representation of the TARDIS rather than the TARDIS actually becoming humanoid, because, well... That'd be weird. ;D I think Doctor/TARDIS fic is actually better when the TARDIS is non-anthropomorphic, to be honest. It's more alien and stuff. Not that I've ever read any Doctor/TARDIS fic. Of course not. What do you take me for? Ahem.
Tempting fate there, Maggadin...

Just found out that the secret Amy is hiding from the Doctor is concerned with Amy seeing a future Doctor along with River, and River swears her to secrecy. How very ... timey-wimey! I know that's bound to make things interesting in the TARDIS, as I have a feeling that's only one of many secrets that will be unveiled throughout the series ...
