And she deserved it (well, insofar as beings like that can deserve anything). Since I wrote that, I've been thinking about the original Zuleika. She'd make quite a good SJA monster, with her powers of fascination and the possibility for all sorts of morals about peer pressure and staying true to oneself. Moreover, her visit to Oxford falls almost exactly a hundred years before Luke's time there, and time travel seems to like good round numbers. Can Luke and K9, thrown a hundred years into the past by some convenient plot device or Weeping Angel, avert the disaster about to fall upon the University? Hmm. Maybe that's a bunny best given up for adoption.

I dunno, if I had a bunny like that I'd nurture it and feed it lettuce and stuff on the basis that I'd get around to using it myself one day...one day...

I go away and next thing this thread is being used for the sadistic torturing of fluffy bunnies, which was never my intention... Anyway, have this: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=15260I don't know how to classify it, except to say it's short and a bit of a hidden gem with Nine and Sarah, and Sarah/Harry. And a rainy night.

Also the trend for chip!fic reasserted itself a while back, which was nice to see. Then it died in an overwhelming shower of shippage...

Spam spam spam... Really, more fic so great, I have to share: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=15260Nine and the Brigadier. I'd be here a long time explaining how great this fic is, but, you know, it has the Brigadier in it. And this line: The thing about the Doctor, Alastair reflected in that particular state of reflection that only ever resurfaced when the Doctor was actually present and subsequently impossible to sentimentalize, was that it would be possible to cope with him if only he was just one thing. But no, he had to be a genius and an alien and nigh-immortal and a renegade and just this side of eldritch power garbed in ancient mystery and a petulant four-year-old up long past his bedtime.

Whoops, sorry. www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=16384It's worth the wait, mind. Heh, Clocket, I am so impressed you wrote chip!fic! For some reason membership of DbyA has led me to believe that the inclusion of food in fic is generally a good thing... ;D
