Heh, glad it wasn't only me what liked it. The second story would have been easier to read if I'd included the link for it, wouldn't it? I'm stressed, okay!! www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=10496There.

I liked that too - it's interesting that it uses a lot of the same dialogue from the episode, and yet it still seems in character for all of them (well, for Seven and Ace - I don't know a lot about Hex, really, beyond him being a nervous Scouser who's out of his depth. I liked the version of him in Clocket's fic, though).

Still making my way through these. There's some stunning Seven and Ace fics by a writer I've never heard of... JJ something or other. I'd forgotten about Prim's titles (Prim, I've left you a review but consider that series. Now consider that Ten's run is complete. *hints* *hints*) And then I got all excited: wow, Seventh Doctor crossover with Diana Wynne Jones! How could I have missed that? Yay. Then realised it was written by me. That was slightly disappointing. ;D

Silly Eight EDA story alert! See here for a TARDIS-set game of Monopoly: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=496(Warning for one instance of bad language from Fitz, however). But TARDIS set Monopoly! (Yep, the only reason I liked Blake's 7 was because they played board games in between blowing things up. The rebels have got to have some hobbies, y'know.)

Two very nice little fics! (the second link actually goes to some sort of Eighth Doctor/Sandman crossover involving books, but it's still good! )

And now I'm humming the song from The Wizard of Oz - thanks! ;D
And that fic made me laugh a lot - "Why can’t we have fun and be nice?”"

Hold on! There's another version of that! Well, at least there was. It seems to have been deleted now. Blah

Blah Well, it did say it was co-written by Edithmathilda and Nostalgia and last time they did that (that Adric cake!fic, people - see my other Teaspoon quest thread), it got posted twice, so I believe you.

I girded my lions (or something) and resumed my quest to comb Teaspoon for decent historicals and crossovers. Before I could face Nine, I stopped off to do Eleven. He is lacking in crossovers and historicals, I have to say. In fact, as far as I can see, the first Eleven crossover, is by our own Pitry. ;D Anyway, then I went onto Nine (I am on p255, working backward. ) and am so far a) pleasantly surprised (historicals, good ones and an excellent Red Dwarf cross!) and b) very amused, because I hadn't realised that New Who had already spawned a little-known food-related sub-genre of fanfic, known as chip-fic. There are an amazing no of fics involving chips. It's keeping me entertained (included a 'vignette-and-chips'...)

Actually, that really long Eleven historical I keep going on about is apparently also a cross-over... I didn't notice though because the author ties in everything so well. It's like the perfect fic of everything. *glomps it*

It's like the perfect fic of everything. *glomps it* Yes, I found it, don't worry! It was one of the very few crossovers there. And since it wasn't therefore a straight historical, I found none of those whatsoever. (Can't you put that right for me Clocket? Your fic would be even better! ) I'm still just entertained by the quality of early Nine-fic and the preponderance of chips in it. Chip!fic, cake!fic - is there any other type of food fic? I should check Five again - there's probably a reasonable amount of celery!fic...

I'm a bit crummy at straight historicals really. If its aliens I can afford to get the details a bit muddled; if it's history I'm terribly afraid of misrepresenting people. I mean, I could just set it in a certain random era and avoid the known figures altogether, but there's so much research involved with it...

But anything, really, written by you and counting as a vignette/drabble pseudohistorical historical... I could write one myself but it looks so bad every time I put my own stories on the site. Not that that ever stops me, but still. ;D

Anyway, now I am being even more ridiculous about fic because all this Teaspoon searching and site running made me clock up a ridiculous number of Favourites on Teaspoon, so I thought I'd join Delicious and sort them out. But my Favourites are up to 180+ (or they were before I started sorting) and this is taking a while. (Mind, it's already more useful - I had a to_read tag and I can just click it to find those fics I wanted to come back to, instead of looking blankly at about 182 fics and wondering... ) Teaspoon searching will be resumed once I've sorted my online life into neat sections and bookmarked them all there... I can think of plenty of other things it will be useful for. It's just eating up a lot of my weekend.
