(I say kayak, I wanted to say frigate but couldn't remember how to spell it... erm...) LOL! THere is a teensy bit of difference between the two... Heh. And I was mainly trying to defend the logical-ness of Jamie/Victoria, so was worrying about Victoria getting freaked out if the more popular Two-ship was going on. I'll stop trying to launch missiles at the big ships; it only annoys people. (They're only snowballs, btw, they won't do any damage). I suppose I have come a little way from 'what's a ship?' and 'I'm not having any of that in any of my stories, thank you very much, this is DW, honestly'. I only learnt what shipping was off the Spooks forum, when I joined and was told I was a Ruth/Harry shipper. (Ruth/Harry is like Ian/Barbara of Spooks. Except so far it hasn't ended happily).

Sorry - Jamie and Two in a canoe! (And I know a kayak is a bit different, but still). ;D

Yes, there was a time when I used to pride myself on not being a shipper...look what I have come to... I think Jamie/Victoria is blatantly obvious, actually, as I've said; I think it's a bit more twee and innocent though than a lot of fanficcers seem to think. You know, I don't think anything ever...happened, if you see what I mean, and I'm not interested in reading about it - 'twould seem as wrong to me as Seven/Ace. My position on Two and Jamie is that they were very close...very close, but not in that way. Mind you, I don't really ship the Doctor with anyone...with one glaringly obvious exception (well, maybe with the Rani, as per our discussion last night, but it was a student fling, over centuries ago...and I think the Master ships himself with the Doctor, but in some twisted Masterly sort of way that makes sense only to him, and in which he seems to substitute grandiose schemes and mass murder for, you know, intimacy). And Sarah/Harry, of course, even if it is mainly in the eye of the beholder. Oh no - Doctor/Rose has just sighted Two/Jamie!

Oh my giddy aunt! *ducks*
Yes, I was actually watching/listening to the Abominable Snowmen last night before DW Live and the Jamie/Victoria is strong in that one. My interpretation is that Jamie tries very badly to convince himself that his overprotectiveness is merely him defending a lady like a lady should be defended, but they way they hold each other at one point...

I think that'd be the case in pretty much every ship. If things went as a lot of fanficcers like to imagine, there'd be no time for saving the universe... Love the battleship!! ;D
