What bothers me most is that people love to bash RTD. I mean LOVE and it seems to be cool in this fandom to do so. that really make me angry. He puts alot of work in this show and everyone just attacks him. I would love to see someone actually go up to him and be like "Hey RTD, this is what I don't like what you did with WHO." no one does, everyone just hides behind their computers. I LIKE HIS EPISODES AND I REALLY ENJOYED JOURNEYS END! There I said it. *raises hand* I'm guilty as charged on the count, and at the end of the day I'm not sure why I do it, because if it weren't for RTD and is enduring love to the fandom I wouldn't be here chatting with you fine people. I guess it's the fickleness of fandom, or life, or something, wherein you don't truly appreciate something until it's gone. I watched a bunch of RTD who last night and found myself really, really enjoying it; even episodes I'd disliked on the first run through. Now that the end draws near I'm liking RTD and DT more and more, which is fickle I suppose, but there have you, I be fickle, a complainer, and oft prone to being mean from behind the safety of my laptop screen, alas. But I do love you RTD, and even if I didn't like JE (well, some parts of it were priceless) I'd rather an entire season of JE-type episodes than no Who at all. Anyway, to bring it back to the subject at hand (and Newton is so going to swat me for this, but it's all in good fun really, I STILL love the episode) I realised another plothole last night: Why didn't UNIT just tip the TARDIS through the wormhole? Discuss. Because the Tardis is a easy way out. Like when you write a short story and in the end, it was all a dream. RTD and who ever else wrote it wanted to do something different and it was great. I too thought the tardis had just arrived around the time the Doctor got back. ... and once again I pressed the edit button. Four times today, if not more. FOUR TIMES. Bloody mod powers.

*points at Newton and laughs*
Muahahahahaha!!! Feel the pain of the Mod!
Actually, if it bugs you, I think you've got the power to demote yourself (and me, for some reason). You eventually, sort of get used to the bloody edit button though, eventually...
I accidentally edited quite a few posts when it first popped up on me.

I also tried to promote my self but it wouldn't let me. (I fiddle around with the mod powers when I am bored ... ok).

Well, I enjoyed this episode. It wasn't my favorite, but who doesn't like to follow the Doctor around mindlessly as he rambles and scrambles to fix a problem?
I loved Malcolm, though having a gun pointed at him felt a little.....lame? Like it was there for drama, not really because the UNIT person genuinely felt that was her last resort. After all, Malcolm hardly seemed like he was very hard to intimidate.
I wasn't a big fan of Christina, but I didn't dislike her, either. I would just be pleased if she didn't show up and become a constant thing (thieves really are tricky partners), mostly because I feel she would ditch the Doctor without a second thought. Oh, one person I saw on the 'net said that they wouldn't've liked her as a companion because the companion is supposed to be the one that we viewers can relate to and that they couldn't. I'm indifferent on that matter, but I thought I'd throw that out there.
Oh yes, and to resolve plothole number one: the Doctor got on the bus because he was eating chocolate and everyone knows eating chocolate is easier to do sitting down than walking around. Heeeellllooooo *winks and grins*
Thought: so, when I first heard the Doctor tell Christina she looked like a Time Lord, my ever story plotting mind first thought of foreshadowing. Of course, I then threw it out the window in favor of the idea that he was just informing her that Time Lords and humans look alike and that Time Lords were here first, so nyah, you like me not the other way around. And then, naturally, I log online to read what other people are saying and someone referenced something I seem to have missed on the show: apparently there was a comment about her bag being bigger on the inside? I don't remember this, but maybe one of you do. Anyway, this again threw me back to thinking that this is again foreshadowing, so..... Anyone else fancy the idea of Christina being a Time Lord turned human and secretly possesses a fob watch?

Her bag is bigger on the inside? Really? And she has the flying bus -
I was being silly before, but the evidence is overwhelming: She's Iris Wildthyme. *nods*

Her bag is bigger on the inside? Really? I bet that speculation is based on the fact that she had a lot of things in her bag. I do not think she is a TL.

Lol, I hadn't thought of that exactly before, but if Moffat threw that in, I must admit, I would be surprised. She waaasss in love with the Doctor, after all, and kind of a parody of him. *takes off conspiratorial eyeglasses* She might not be. Personally, I'm holding out for Romana showing up. If I have a vote in a Time Lady making an appearance, I vote Romana. *nods to emphasize point*
