A moniker said publication has _more_ than earned over the years. I can't think of a single person of my acquaintance who would read it (and that's a Liverpool thing rather than a snobbery thing - if you don't know why, Google "Kelvin McKenzie" + "Hillsborough"), and I wouldn't even dirty my mouse cursor by clicking on their website - I get my hot tips secondhand from other forums, I'm afraid when it comes to The Scum... I digress... You know what this means, of course - people writing fanfic in future are just going to have to be REALLY CAREFUL about what the put online, otherwise the consequences could be horrific... A cape would be magnificent, LL, but what this spoiler really needs, right now, are some chains...er... MAJOR BIGTIME SPOILER (I'M NOT MESSING ABOUT HERE): * So, this mysterious Rory bloke is engaged to Amy, then? I hope that doesn't mean he's going to be relegated to the status of Season 1 Mickey or anything, because a companion throwing over her fiance so she can pine after the Doctor really would be NuWho shipping gone mad... Mind you, wouldn't it be great to give her a non-Doctor love interest just to take that out of the equation completely. And apparently the Moff, as a bigtime Five fan, is on record as saying that he prefers TARDIS teams of more than two people, so make of that what you will...*

You know...RTD scouring the web in search of fan fic somehow makes EoT a bit more understandable, eh?

It all starts to make sense now...

Oh Rusty. Honestly though, where else would he have got that dreadful Martha/Mickey hook-up idea from?
Not to mention... everything else. Crack!fic from start to finish.

Amen... I second that. Except using my own face, of course.

SPOILER:
*According to something I saw yesterday, River Song is in the season finale, which apparently takes place at least partially in some sort of museum. I hope this means that the very early spoiler pics of the Doctor and Amy on that wet, windy Welsh beach with the soldiers and the crashed rocket are also from the finale, because while I could live with a reappearance from River I don't want her popping up every other story and becoming the new Rose, however much Moffat might dig her...
In other news, apparently Nick "Hopefully my future employer! Voice of the Daleks" Briggs and one of the guys who operate Daleks were around for the finale filming as well, so make of that what you will...*

The stuffed polar bear amused me to no end. While I don't particularly like River, I do want her to show up long enough to resolve her plot... and then I want her to go away. Granted, I might be singing a different tune come next year. Maybe I'll fall head-over-heels in love with her. We'll see...In other news, apparently Nick "Hopefully my future employer! Voice of the Daleks" Briggs and one of the guys who operate Daleks were around for the finale filming as well, so make of that what you will...* But no Daleks were seen. None were seen. That means they don't exist. Because they were all killed that time! When... oh, who am I kidding? Oh COURSE there will be Daleks. They're like bloody Torchwood, always showing up where they aren't wanted and being shouty...
At least the Daleks won't... right, not finishing that train of thought.
I hope your script gets lifted from the pile JJ. I've got a feeling it's probably better than the plot I lashed together at the last minute.

*I honestly wouldn't mind the Daleks coming back again, just something smaller-scale where they're not trying to destroy the universe yet again, and where we're not assured at the end that that really is them done and dusted forever. As I said on DW Live the other day, I'd also really like to see Julian Bleach's Davros again, because I thought he had a really good handle on the character. This time in a story that kind of makes sense, though...
As for River, I guess a story tying up the loose ends left from her previous appearance is probably warranted, but I don't know if she wouldn't really annoy me as a recurring character. Not so much the shippiness part as the fact that while we were repeatedly informed of her awesomeness in the previous story, we weren't really shown it that much. But it's not a deal-breaker where I'm concerned - I'm still keeping upbeat and positive!*

Just thinking on now that we've grown more accustomed to his face - and sticky-uppy hair... I was greatly impressed with his ability to be 'old' when needed, though I would have still preferred someone who also didn't look like a teen when being cheerful, it's not as bad as I feared and I give a tip of the hat in respect to Mr. Smith.
*sound of trumpets, flashing lights and blasts of steam* "You called for me, Sarah-Jane?"
No, not THAT Mr. Smith...
Also was mildly distressed when a man on the LOTR forum I frequent whom I've enjoyed having alongside as one of the few whovians there was expressing he had soured on Eleven and no longer liked him - wants him to leave already, and is saying he won't watch any more Who until he is changed again. :-( There were times before seeing him act that I would have been going "you said it! Oh pleeease bring us a different look" but now, when he's being all.... twoish and fourish and even a little sevenish? Noooo - don't even suggest it!
