I have had a very bad day today. Please see chain of events below:-
1) I have got flu and have had to take the day off work today. My eyes are streaming, nose running and I ache from every bone in my body!! 2) Rang my boss this morning and got the distinct impression that he thought I was lying. Got the silent treatment on the phone from him even though he has seen me deteriorate each day this week. 3) My internet connection is playing up and I lose connection most days after 6pm and on a Sunday afternoon after midday. 4) Rang internet provider they did a test on the line and told me to ring British Telecom (line provider). 5) Rang British Telecom they did a test on the line and told me to ring back internet provider to request a fault report to BT and then they'll send an engineer round for further tests. 6) Rang internet provider and they told me to ring back BT for a reference number 7) Rang BT and they told me to ring their customer care line and not their Techinical helpdesk line to proceed 8) Rang this number and they told me to call back Technical line 9) AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! 10) After god knows how long am now waiting for a call back from one of their Supervisors to arrange a BT engineer to call round for further tests.
Is it me or is life now always so b@**&£ complicated!
I am feeling worse. Anyone got any good cures for the flu apart from taking paracetamol and fluids?

*pats back* Flu sucks. I got it something awful during my last week of uni, totally lost my voice (and my job is selling stuff over the phone) then I was trying to do my emails with all this gunk falling out of my nose.
NOT COOL
Hope you get better soon. I always take vitamin C tablets when I'm sick, dunno if it actually helps but they taste good!
Life likes to be big and complex and annoying. Currently I'm scrabbling around to find my password for the student loans website (they never said we needed to keep it!) and if that fails I need to take four hour drive to the head office 'cause they like to make everything BLOODY COMPLEX AND ANNOYING!!! That and the landlord is drumming for the rent I can't give him until the loan money comes in *headdesk*
On internet, mine is working at a dreadfully slow pace as well, not sure if I've picked up a virus or what, but it took half an hour for this site to load and Cbox isn't loading at all, hmmm… maybe both our internet woes are connected? Space dust from the planet zonx is screwing with out connections? Lol
And the Sens lost the hockey game last night. *cries*
Ya know, sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed.
On the up side I met Flor who is apparently my UK clone version or something. We've both got the same bizarre hyphenated name.

Flu still bad today so another day at home on the cards.
My job is also connected with the phone (customer advisor) and there's no way that I could talk all day today with my throat!
Hope you get your student loans problem out asap. What a pain!
Like the idea of space dust from the planet Zonx. I'm sure there's an idea for some fiction there somewhere!
Sorry your hockey team lost last night. Perhaps next time....?
Think I'm going back to bed now. Couldn't sleep very well last night but really tired this morning.... You just can't win, can you?

It's a home game this weekend so hopefully... (otherwise I'm just slightly concerned about hockey riots)
Go to sleep and hopefully you'll feel better in the morning. And whatever you do stay away from aspirin!
ps. sorry mods about the random lol that sneaked into my last post, I'll edit it out when my internet stops being so slow and annoying.

You're forgetting for me this IS the morning!
"Stay away from aspirin"? Do you mean the tablet or this forum site? Ha Ha Ha! I know... my jokes today are awful... expect special allowance as not feeling well!

It's sort of the morning here too (if you count 3am as morning). Us insomniacs must unite! I meant the forum site, my jokes aren't really the best today either...
