jjpor... When I decide to start on your Time War story or stories, where exactly do I start? Your Teaspoon menu confused me (as more and more things do).
Sorry to everyone that I'm adding to that story scene I posted (here)in frustrating little bits and pieces. Someone else would have just waited till it was done to post it. Anyway, input does help and is appreciated.
Also jjpor, I wanted to answer your remarks on my longer unfinished story on Teaspoon (ch. 3), but for some reason, "Respond" refuses to appear on that page. Anyway, thanks.

The respond thing is a teaspoon glitch; it disappeared on a few of my stories too. It has something to do with the mods changing the rating system. You have to modify your story's rating (the all ages, teen, adult thingy) to be able to respond again.
Hope that helps!
ps. I too want more of that story. It was very good, and then it just ended...

That's quite all right Magnus - I really enjoyed the first three chapters that you posted, and I hope you're able to continue it at some point because there was some interesting stuff going on there. Er...well...I get kind of cringy when it comes to advertising my own fic - it's not the done thing, is it? I think it's great that people have read it and liked it and told other people they like it, but... (emoticons will suffice where words fail me!) Anyway, I'm not sure that my Time War stories really answer the questions raised or even pay them that much attention; I share RTD's magpie-like attraction to character moments and would-be emotional payoffs, but anyway... All the Time War stories are grouped in the series called "War in Heaven"; not all of them strictly are Time War-related, but the ones that aren't are there because they relate in some way to one of the other stories in the series. I don't know if they need to be read in any particular order; the order they're listed in is roughly chronological, as far as that means anything when you're talking about travel in time and space. The story that actually covers the Time War itself, although it really only covers a series of moments during the war rather than one continuous narrative, is called "Gaze into the Abyss" - it mentions some of the stuff I put into that essay I posted here, but be warned; it's mainly taken up with my unhealthy fixation with Romana and what her relationship with the Doctor may or may not have involved when they weren't on camera: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=25137The first story in the series that I actually wrote is called "A World Burning" - you might like to start with this actually, as it's quite short, and covers some of the same ground as the previous story, but rather more concisely; it also provides an imagined backstory to Seven's actions in Remembrance of the Daleks: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=21213This angle is expanded on in "The Sting", which touches on the Time War and Dalek history, but is mainly a prequel/epilogue to Remembrance. Warning, contains angsty NuWho elements as well: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=23779Lastly, there's "Consequences", which contains rather too much of the Master musing about what an evil, twisted so-and-so he is, but does sort of suggest one version of Dalek history, as well as linking together the Three-era Dalek stories and Deadly Assassin and suggesting that this is where the Time War really starts: www.whofic.com/viewstory.php?sid=23260These last two stories also partially concern my take on the Daleks and their really quite unpleasant nature; all that "screaming without a mouth" and stuff. But anyway, if you find time to take a look at some of these, I'd be grateful for any feedback you wanted to provide and any suggestions you'd like to make.

Thanks cp, and thanks jjpor for the information, which I'll use soon, and for the positive remarks. I should say that the story I was talking about, that I've been adding to in frustrating little tiny bits, is the one posted here in the DBA fanfic section, which I've retitled "The Shardlands" because I've decided very vaguely where it's going to go. I added five paragraphs, some long ones though, and I guess I'll go on doing that.
