With the 45th anniversary coming up, these links are interesting; Who could have ended up being a very different show to what we got: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7736130.stmwww.bbc.co.uk/archive/doctorwho/index.shtmlI'm not sure I set much store by the opinions of the archivist bloke in the first article - anyone who says anything to me about Who losing its way in the 80s had better follow it up with "but McCoy was good!" ;D And he seems a bit too convinced of RTD's genius. And as likeable as Captain Jack is, comparing him to Ian Chesterton and Harry Sullivan seems, on the one hand, dead wrong, and on the other hand some kind of blasphemy or something. Still, it would have been interesting to see Biddy, Lola and Cliff travelling in their invisible spaceship with Santa Claus (and his wife?!)...

"A plot written for the original Doctor but rejected, called Troubleshooters, can be seen in Torchwood"
I want to watch it.

The present-day Harry Sullivan is Mickey Smith. EVERYONE knows that. We should tell Moffat to get on that, shan't we?

The people writing the comments at the end of the article seem to have quite a bit of sense.
