I LOVE IT!!!! Aldy does a really good job with signatures. We joke about stuff like that. He just takes time to actually make the signatures....

You should have him make you a banner. You don't have one at the moment.
Who's your favorite doctor, by the way? You never told me.

Seven was a great Doctor, and if people want a scape-goat for the show getting cancelled they shuld stop ragging on him and turn their attention to the genius who decided to run Who opposite Coronation Street! I too have been unfortunate enough to see that particular site - the mind boggles, quite honestly. The Coronation Street thing was just a pretext - the suits at the Beeb had already decided to cancel the show (they'd already tried, but the outcry had scared them off) - they were just looking for an excuse... Another thing that bugs me about the whole era is the Kandyman, or rather, the perception of him. At the time, and since, in those talking-celebrity-heads "I love the 80s" type programmes, the Kandyman is held up and ridiculed as an example of how low Who had sunk in its twilight years. Of course, anyone who has actually bothered to watch The Happiness Patrol knows that it is one of the best Seven stories and that the Kandyman is an absolutely chilling figure - a merciless torturer in the service of a totalitarian regime, his threat only heightened by the sense of campiness surrounding him. Makes my blood boil, it does...

That episode truly is chilling, and it remedies that awful Theta Sigma thing from the 4th Doctor era --- no one should know the Doctor's name. Ever.
Though, the crazy poodle THING called... was it a Sycorax?? That was just unpleasant.
Also, pink TARDIS of win!!!

The things that stick in my mind, apart from the Kandy Kitchen, are the scene with the snipers - Seven at his best - the bit where he's onstage, singing and goofing about, and the whole sense that Seven is so awesome that toppling nasty little governments like this is just something he does by way of a bit of light exercise.

A light maiming is the most considerate form of maiming.
