Hello, one and all. I'm new (obviously) to the board. I'm Mary, and something of a new fan to Doctor Who (going on a year I've liked this show now) and I feel as though I've shown up excruciatingly late in the game. Ah well.
Anyway, a little about me: I'm a bit of a geek, as my perfect day would be spent at museums, libraries, and/or planetariums. I'm a fan of Brotherhood 2.0 on Youtube (don't forget to be awesome!) and am currently a college student (degree is in journalism - just like Sarah Jane, oh how fun!).
Pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Greetings! Greetings! We now seem to have a Mary and a Mery. I foresee confusion, I'm Clocket, 20 (for another month anyways). University student studying... archaeology (you know, technically, I should love River because of this, but I still can't manage it. I reserve judgement though until later encounters) I came to the game rather late as well with Nine as my first. I was absolutely striken when he regenerated. I don't think I've recovered yet. *sob* After discovering the Classic stuff I went super hardcore (read, was terrified and anti-social for first six months of university) and watched pretty much every episode I could get my hands on. Three quickly became my favourite Doctor (see siggy for details). He has a cape!! Um, well, that's me really. I like writing (have been writing a lot of random fic lately, though I used to do more original stuff. School leave me feeling a bit drained occasionally though... *sighs*), and um, reading is good! People should read! And have long rambling discussions with friends which go nowhere or lead to zombie sheep and... This is me rambling. Must stop and get ready for class. See you around!

Hey, Mary! Welcome to the board, I'm fairly new myself and it's a great place you have found here. Everyone is so nice.
I used to watch DW as a little girl (it aired on PBS). I haven't really picked an all time favourite Doctor but if pushed, it would most likely be five or four. Though I quite fancy ten and two and seven and well you get the idea, lol.
I'm a mommy and a college student myself. Marriage and Family Studies undergrad and Marriage and Family Psychologist masters n ph d (eventually). Have a look around and I look forward to getting to know you.

Another one joins the clan! Welcome! My name is Aldebaran, but people around here have shortened it to simply "Aldy". I answer to either name. I'm a huge four fan. I know some of his episodes were so-so, but I loved Tom Baker's Doctor the best. (this could be because of a new conspiricay around here that I am Tom Baker's illegitimate son, but I'll spare you the details on that.)He always has me in stitches. My runners up for favorite doctor are Ten and Three. My favorite companion is Captain Jack Harkness, (I don't watch Torchwood, but I liked him on who.) I'm also fond of Leela, K9 and Donna. I'm an Irish musicain, and a writer. (Journalisim is hard for me. I'm not all that observant usually.) Well, welcome! Good to have another member.

I'm Anastasia. It's a Russian name that means "she who will rise again". Sound timeladyish? I though so anyway. My favorite doctor is Six, but I like companions more than I do any particular doctor. Romana being my favorite with Donna, Leela, Ace and Sarah Jane following. I'm an Artist and Fanfic writer... and i collect cookie jars. Nothing too extraordinary about me. I hope you enjoy it here. The people are amazing. (for example, Jjpor is actually Benton in a David Tennant costume, Newton is the master's latest reincarnation, and Aldy is Tom Baker's son. ;D ) Buhbye.

My favorite Doctor is 5, second favorite is now 3. My favorite companions are Romana, Adrick, and Donna.
I love building things, and watching things.

Hi there - welcome to the cult! Not that we really are a cult, as such, because that sounds a little scary...er...Welcome to the "group". Yes, that'll do... I'm from Liverpool in the UK; I am also very old and weary after a misspent youth. My internet name is both meaningless and unpronounceable. I got into Who as a wee tyke in the 80s; oldschool Who is my first love, but in 2005 I started cheating on her with Nine and later Ten. Because I am a bounder. Seven is my favourite Doctor, Ace my favourite companion, with Four and Romana hot on their heels. My favourite monsters, to be very conventional, are the Daleks. I don't really hate Five. In fact, I tend to favour and disfavour on a story-by-story rather than a Doctor-by-Doctor or era-by-era basis. I write fanfic; quite a lot at the moment; hey, I don't get out much. ;D I have also written, and keep meaning to write, original fic, but I am basically too lazy. Believe everything Newton tells you about me; she is the only one who sees through my carefully-constructed persona of niceness and knows the true blackhearted evil within. ;D So anyway, enough about me; welcome aboard and I hope you enjoy youself here; these are some good people.

You are indeed a bounder JJPOR, but your fanfic makes me happy inside. It is so very nice.
I'm not sure yor name is meaningless though. Everytime I see it I think of JSTOR which is a online journal archive my university subscribes to.

Don't fall in love with JJpor. I am The Master. Traveling is my passion.

jjpor and jstor, that is too weird. That should be your first fiction, jjpor. It would make an interesting story. Would that count as fan fiction?

Oh, dear, I am getting rather late when it comes to these intro posts.
Hello, I'm Kit, your friendly neighbourhood admin!
Currently my favourite Doctors are Three, Four, and Eight, in that order. However I do love all of them and my favourites often change.
Aside from that, I'm a nautical geek and love tall ship sailing. =D

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I'm so glad I've finally found a good Doctor Who message board, too (after a few mishaps with some unpleasant boards). Lots of fans of Tom Baker, it looks like. He was the first old DW I saw and he was with the first incarnation of Romana, who I was a bit fond of, even if she was rather damselly. She, along with Martha, are currently my two favorite companions. My favorite Doctor is undecided. I've seen the most of Ten, but I feel like saying he's my favorite is cliche, and I am rather partial to Nine. Two and Four amused me a bit, too.
Anywho (hehe), I'll be sure to trust everything Newton says about jjpor (which, for whatever reason, makes me think I should pronounce it like Zsa Zsa Gabor.....) and to check out all the topics and try to reply to them!
Thanks again, everybody.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I'm so glad I've finally found a good Doctor Who message board, too (after a few mishaps with some unpleasant boards). Believe me, I understand completely. Don't. It's okay if he's your fave. Really. I felt the same way with four for awhile. You can always change your mind later.

Hello Wanderlust. I'm far too complicated a man to explain myself in some brief post. I believe it can be stated without any fear of contradiction, though, that I have thick, matted hair growing out of my forehead, I am intensely interested in the Venezuelan space program, and I believe that Africa is a beverage.

Magnus, I feel I should tell you as nobody else is willing. It seems your babel fish has had a stroke, and sadly, the area of its brain used for translation was damaged, hence your confusion. Soon you will believe time means "to toilet" and chess is something I cannot mention on a family board. I'm sorry.

People should read! And have long rambling discussions with friends which go nowhere or lead to zombie sheep and... See you around! Is that, by chance, a "Black Sheep" reference?

People should read! And have long rambling discussions with friends which go nowhere or lead to zombie sheep and... See you around! Is that, by chance, a "Black Sheep" reference? er, no... my room mates and I have a running joke about flaming cactus's and zombie sheep, though, the joke is slightly off colour. Though, suffice to say, if one of us yells "LOOK OUT FOR ZOMBIE SHEEP!" or "MY CACTUS WAS ON FIRE" we all start laughing uproariously. Actually, the cactus joke isn't dirty at all. That's just something we overheard someone saying on the bus, and then we wrote it on the wall in our living room. People's reactions though... Everyone seems to thinks it means something dirty. It doesn't. Zombie sheep on the other hand...

You should see "Black Sheep". It's not really ZOMBIE sheep, per say... but genetically engineered sheep gone bad. It's a good movie. You'd like it... if you're into that morbid humor thing.
