Maybe I'm a bit slow on the up-take. I watched ALiens of London, WW3, and TCI wondering where the heck I'd seen her before. I recorded the repeat airring and tried to watch the tiny credits in slow motion, but all to no avail. Probably you're all laughing at me now.
Anyway, this weekend I finally figured it out. She's Shaun's mom in Shaun of the Dead! My friend couldn't figure out why I kept laughing throughout the movie. Especially when she says: "Doctor? I don't think the doctor's coming. We can't leave without the doctor!"

Ah, Shaun of the Dead is one of my fave films, just love it to bits! Brilliant comedy and just love Simon Pegg. You may already now about the website, but if not, then check it out > www.paramountpictures.co.uk/romzom/

He's so great. I loved him as the Editor (another reason I was laughing through the whole movie. I kept pictuing him blue)

Wow! I love Sean of the Dead, and Hot Fuzz and Spaced!
I even wrote a spaced/DW crossover.

I thought Spaced was good but found Sean of the Dead disappointing - I liked Simon Pegg when he appeared in 'Is it Bill Bailey?' back in 1996 though I find Bill Bailey to be a lot funnier...he's probably sticking pins in a Simon Pegg doll muttering 'Steal my thunder will you? Grrr...' ; P

What's the 'Belgian Jazz' Doctor Who theme?
More details please and a link if possible.
Thanks.

It was pretty neat, well I thought it was anyway, how Ten was able to put a wrench or in his case, a Sonic Screwdriver in Harriet Jones' career as the Prime Minister by just whispering six little words in her Aide's ear after she shot down the Sycorax's ship after he won the duel between him and the Leader during their sword fight. He showed her by doing that that he wasn't the same Doctor she once knew and that he wasn't someone to be fooled around with since he didn't answer her question about what he told him once he pulled his earpiece away from his ear, but she sure found out soon enough though.

It was one of the DW christmas specials.

That was the only time, I think, that the Doctor showed his viscious side about anything to anyone. I *could* be wrong about that though. Yours, Taevia
