The first in a series of short (very, very short) online "episodes" to bridge the gap between the last series of new Who and the impending one, as well as acting as a bit of an intro. I think there's going to be a new one every day this week. Anyway, the first - see what you think: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtfvf7j9WKIGood to see the Doctor's got the hang of this "laying low" business, anyway...

That was freaking adorable! ^^ So much cheering! ... Except I have to be quiet now because I'm in the study lounge... I really need to remember to bring headphones.

Yeah... ;D Anyway, part the second: www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQZc9DzneUI* It's played for comedy, but looking at Eleven there, and knowing what we know about the upcoming S7a, I wonder if we won't look back on this come October and see it in a different, more ominous light?*

I always love when when the companions have gotten to the point where all the crazy is just a normal part of their everyday lives they can gripe about like anything else. Especially the ponds, and especially Rory, he's wonderful like that! I also love that eleven is apparently managing to have a slightly more normal kind of friend relationship where he just pops by to visit rather than having to be so attached to his companions all the time. Obviously we know the consequences of him going on adventures with no companion, but it seems like a bit of progress.

Anyway, the first - see what you think: Good to see the Doctor's got the hang of this "laying low" business, anyway... I rather liked someone's comment on LJ that this is his idea of lying low. And in the sequence with ] Mata Hari[, that crumpet was definitely a visual pun.

Yes, I think they could well have a point there... And indeed - I too picked up on the toasted bread products-related joke there. ;D * I imagine that one probably ended up playing out a bit like The Girl in the Fireplace, but with added espionage and firing squads*. Oh well, Pt 3 for those still keeping score. It may raise a smile: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pm0dqb7rKpkRegarding Eleven's unconventional relationship with the Ponds, it seems that he still sees them as his companions in some sense, adding weight to the idea that * the pep talk he got in the Xmas special has convinced him to flipflop on his decision at the end of The God Complex...which may or may not turn out to be a good idea. We will know in five weeks' time, I guess...* And could the scenario presented here be something of an oldschool Who in-joke, related to something I believe Jon Pertwee said re Yetis?

And Part the Fourth, in which Amy and Rory are beneficiaries of slavery! The Doctor doesn't seem to mind, but Rory's a bit troubled about it. A bit. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ikv0QbubV7YEDIT: And finally, Part Five, in which all is not well in the House of Pond - I suspect this is our direct intro into Series 7. Only one sleep to go! www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxXAY7LyjcM

Oh. That last one made me really sad. First two are still my favorites. I think the absolute the Doctor's theme starting up up in the background as he bursts into their room and then abruptly cutting off. Well, that and Rory's final line there. Testing out the new Spoiler cuts thing! Works very nicely! ^^
