I changed my shortlast name to a very long one that North Americans can not seem to comprehend. I am always surprised when somebody finds a new way to write my last name. I've been there Newton. Mostly with my last name though it's people butchering the pronunciation. My first name is not uncommon, although spelled a but uniquely, but I am occasionally surprised when people come up with another of the various ways to spell it that I was not previously aware of.

But, yeah, I don't really care about Cumberbatch one way or the other, aside from finding the constant appearance of his name annoying. Hey, I think I've found the perfect name for his fans: Cumberbatch Dolls! ;D They already have a nickname: Cumberbitches. ...yes, yes, I know. Let it sink in. *cough* Anyway! I confess to being rather fond of Benedict Cumberbatch, especially realizing just how talented he was recently in the second series of Sherlock, and then being similarly impressed by him in Third Star (good movie, people ought to check it out if they're so inclined). Still need to see TTSS. And let's face it, his name is pretty amazing. Stuff about the said news: Firstly, I should say that I don't find it very plausible. You can all dig up this post and laugh at me later if it comes true, but for all the true rumors in the press about Time Lord casting, there are about a hundred more fake ones. Also, even though I've thought Cumberbatch would make a great Master ever since Sherlock started (I can't remember if someone here suggested him for the role or if I saw it suggested somewhere else, but I quickly adopted it), I now feel like it might be too obvious a choice to make. The Sherlock and Doctor Who spheres should stay mostly separate. Aside from...er, Rupert Graves recently getting cast in S7 and proving my point wrong, but even so, he's not quite as associated with the one role. Well, supposing that this were somehow true, I would be pretty interested to see what Cumberbatch would do with the role.

Wise words, IMF - I remember when *Paterson Joseph was a dead cert to get cast as Eleven (I actually believed that one very likely to be true at the time) or indeed when Jason Isaacs was absolutely, positively going to be Omega. Or possibly the Master. Or possibly both, for all I know.* I'm just whiting those out in case in some strange and unlikely quirk of fate they end up coming belatedly true. ;D

I am not calling anyone ''bitches'', as that's misogyny, so I'll stick to mine! Also, can I call him Cabbagepatch from now on?

I was reading the labels of the bath products in my shower last night and caught sight of the word Cucumber... For some reason it reminded me of him, and I am attempting to formulate it into a more appropriate nickname....

From now on, I'm going to think of him as Benjamin Cucumberbund. ;D

"the 50th anniversary turned into a 45-minute long Doctor/River fest."
...ooooh, now that sounds delightful! Thanks for suggesting it!
