Oh me too - I love the theorising and the speculation - and worrying's great if it's "enjoyable worrying"... ;D
My first question:
*Who's Idris??!*

** Irdis is the name of a character in Neil Gaiman's episode. The actress playing her was previously on SJA as Mona Lisa**

*Thanks for the info - and she has a new soul? Hmm...I thought that actress playing Mona Lisa in SJA was really bad in the part, actually...but I'll keep positive upbeat etc - Gaiman's writing will cancel any dodgy acting out, right? Right?? ;D*

blastr.com/2010/09/new-doctor-who-series-6-m.phpVERY interesting, and the fact that a crew member is yelling at other members on twitter REALLY lends it some credence, UNLESS it's a giant red-herring but somehow I'm not convinced ALSO! Those Moffat quotes were in fact, true. At least in so much as Moff did say them. confirmation whited out below: Speaking of Idris, those quotes we reported on yesterday were indeed the real deal from Doctor Who Magazine. Thanks to Joe and Chris at the Eleventh Hour podcast and Chris Clarke for emailing in to confirm. I guess Steven Moffat really is even crazier than I thought. I am very much OK with this.from Io9 again

Creepy Dolls? Oh, this is really starting to sound more and more like the Celestial Toymaker. I'm starting to wish I didn't get into spoilers. This is the first season I've ever cared enough to do so and I'm starting to see why I don't. I'm going to be so disappointed now, if the Toymaker doesn't show up. It could ruin the whole episode for me. (I'm a huge fan of the Toymaker, he's one of my favorite, so that's why I care so much. All the mental hype would just make me sad if it wasn't true.)

I'll believe it when I see it, but I agree it would be extremely cool to have that particular character make a reappearance. I got this from a Livejournal post here: community.livejournal.com/doctoreleven/443865.html?view=18938841#t18938841A BIG list of potential clues, hints and spoilers for S6, as transcribed by eve11 on my flist - make of these what you will: * 1. The Doctor will be on trial--twice!
2. Who controls the light sculptors?
3. You won't believe what's buried under Wembley stadium.
4. Scared of the Eye in Space? You should be.
5. Take up thy sins and walk--slowly.
6. There won't be a pub quiz on Tuesday because there won't be a pub!
7. Beau Geste is cool.
8. Bow Street Runners are cool.
9. Bromley-by-bow is cool.
10. 4 August 1982--Happy Birthday, Ma'am.
11. Some lies are too much for the psychic paper.
12."I won't take calls from that Prime Minister!"
13. "Marc, where are you?"
14. The only water in the forest is the river.
15. What awaits the TARDIS at the zero point?
16. "12 years on and Rory's still terrified of Granny Grainger."
17. "I was lost in France."
18. "How could a fellow Gallifreyan stoop so low?"
19. Horror of Bangkok.
20. "Give it up, sweet korn!"
21. Argonite? Here?
22. An ordinary block of flats.
23. "If I saw them walking down the high street what would I think?" "I don't think you'd think anything at all, Amy."
24. Find the Lady--before she finds you!
25. "Margaret! Come Back!"
26. The Doctor defeats the Sahara desert.
27. Susannah's still alive.
28. Mill Green on fire.
29. The Doctor will get married--twice!
30. What are the dangers of Port Olveron?
31. 502, but never 503.
32. Beware of the kites.
33. "A pillar of salt, yes--but not because she looked back. Looking back is good"

So much food for thought in there. So much fannish glee (and head!desk pounding) I'll have to come back to it with lots of rampant speculation once I have time because I do love the speculation bit... #27 though. I literally banged my fist off my armrest and shouted so loud that my room mate came in and was like wut? MOFFAT IF THIS IS TRUE..!! *head explodes*

I hope the ''fellow Gallifreyan'' thing isn't Romana coming back and being all evil or something. Yes, that was my first thought. I'm pathetic. Also the Doctor getting married: bleeeeeeeeech. I get the feeling this won't be ''my'' series.

I've been skipping over most of the white text in this thread, but okay, these clues are fun:
*1. I hope it makes more sense than Trial of a Time Lord.
8. Bow Street Runners? Ooh.
14. Whaaat does this mean.
18. Ooh. Omega?
27. I have to say, I think this is probably referring to an episode specific character named Susannah and not anyone else. But I could be wrong.
29. Ha. I feel like River would be too obvious for this?
37. Um, creepy. As are an awful lot of these, actually. I can't wait.
39. Probably a reference to Father Octavian telling the Doctor not to trust River. *

I get the feeling this won't be ''my'' series. I'm hoping that the production team is just leading us on and, whatever happens, that it will just turn out to be a mistake wedding like One/Cameca (there's another canon pairing lol) or just a flat out joke. The whole married twice thing says joke to me, though, it could also be timey-wimey I guess. Or maybe the series opens with Amy declaring her, the Doctor and Rory as a married threesome lmao

*Well, Susannah, not Susan, but...you just know that Moffat knows that people will draw that conclusion. He toys with us, like some vengeful god or something! ;D
Maggadin, I had exactly the same sick feeling you did at that Gallifreyan line, but then I remembered about Omega, who's been slated to appear for a while (possibly - possibly! - played by Jason Isaacs, according to one wild rumour I read somewhere) - so yeah. And I like to think the Doctor getting married twice wouldn't be as straightforward as the Doctor, like, actually getting married twice. I hope if it did happen it'd be in the course of some Cameca type deal as Clocket says...*

Omega sounds less unlikely, and I love Lucius Malfoy Jason Isaacs, so... ;D
The thing is, while I buy that the Doctor would most likely get married by accident, I would still view that plot as a way for Moffat to make his OTP fall in Real True Love. Yes, yes, I'm cynical and also hate babies and sunshine, what of it? ;D

These are all from The Brilliant Book of Doctor Who and only some are actually clues, the rest are intentional red herrings (as stated in the book)
**As Moffat's OTP is Doctor/TARDIS I'd rather like to see them married off, saves us having people kvetching constantly (like the rose/ten shippers)**

He'd make an absolutely wonderful Omega.

Well, don't anyone be disappointed if the wild rumours I irresponsibly spread turn out not to be true! ;D
*Merry, you just know don't you that the ones we've found most interesting/exciting are going to turn out to be the red herrings? ;D And yes, he should definitely make an honest time capsule of her after all these years!*
