No, not James Corden - Matt "the boy" Smith! Here he is at Glastonbury, of all places, and he's stolen Captain Jack's coat! (warning - strobe lighting in this clip, don't watch if you have medical problems with that): www.youtube.com/watch?v=yF_R5UJGt-gAnd you know, I think this underlines for me that I would much, much prefer an electronic version of the theme tune over the orchestral arrangements that seem compulsory for NuWho - it's just more...traditional...

*dies laughing*
My room mate (who doesn't watch Who) just pulled me into her room to watch this. I'm just like... how did you even find this? ...and why is he wearing wee!Amy's coat!?!?
Room mate "Are there any lyrics to the Doctor Who theme song?"
Me "Um, no"
Her "This is kind of boring"
Me "Well, I was enjoying it..."
Matt Smith is such a dork. The head bobbing is adorable.

Now I totally want an inflatable Dalek. I wonder if they ever retrieved it from the crowd or if it sort of 'went home' with someone.

Would be fun to see it!
I was just mentioning to my daughter that I haven't had that Rite of Passage for Whovians yet, which is taking up knitting to produce The Scarf. I don't really want to produce The Scarf, but I'm thinking it would be jolly fun to knit things like daleks and tardis-pillows. Perhaps I should learn to knit this summer after all.

That would be fun! I've still got a month left before college starts, so maybe I can learn how to knit. I would love to have a knitted Ood, but that may be a bit hard for starters. It would be good to have something like that to have when classes get too stressful.
Oh, never mind. I just looked up how to knit, and maybe I'll stick with making a knitted Tardis. I'll sew myself an Ood.
