Because there should be one. It makes me sad that there wasn't one.

Polly is an interesting companion. I didn't think much of her before I saw her episodes, but watching those and behind the scenes stuff, I really found myself enthralled by her. She is a surprising well-developed character, despite being in so few episodes, even less surviving. It makes me want to get that Companion audio of hers. Most interesting, she was one of the first two companions to actually witness regeneration and know two different Doctors. Surprisingly, she handled it well and realistically. I've listened to half of that story, and have always meant to go back and finish listening to it.

It is a very good story indeed. Agreed that Polly (and Ben for that matter) are characters who don't seem much "on paper" as it were - you have to see them (well, hear them, in most instances) to get the effect. And their differing reactions to the regeneration were very well realised, a bit of a contrast from more recent instances where sometimes it seems glossed over a bit too easily.

If you're referring to Power of the Daleks, I think that would be a good idea I've seen three of her stories all the way through without skipping around: The Faceless Ones, The Tenth Planet, and The War Machines, but I did watch some parts of The Smugglers and The Highlanders.

I've decided I'd like to contribute to this threat, since I do enjoy Polly. Here are so images of Polly: alone and with her companions, as well as of Anneke Willis (the actress who plays her). Enjoy! Most of the above images (and plenty more) can be found at the Web site: Doctor Who's Tragical History Tour ( www.tragicalhistorytour.com/).

I must admit (no obligation really but I appear to be doing it) that I have no idea of Polly in what passes for my head. Few of her stories exist I would guess.
The Unjustified Poster strikes aka bores once again! I have nothing to contribute yet here I am!
