Ooh...
It'd have to be Five and Nyssa, wouldn't it - possibly my least favourite Doctor-companion combo of them all... And I haven't the first clue about writing audio scripts...
On the other hand, what have I got to lose?
*starts typing feverishly*

They've got a PDF document at the link which has a sample of the audio script format they're looking for.
I've got the same rather ambivalent feelings about Five and Nyssa though. Blah. But they've been phasing out their original companions lately, and I think they've lost contract for some of the Classic ones...
Oh well.

And I guess it also goes on which actors happen to be available for a given production slot, too...
Anyway, I've got a 400-500 word outline now of one of my unused plotbunnies (not sure if it hasn't been done before, and it wasn't originally intended for Five and Nyssa, but I think it's okay), now just to write the 2-page script sample as per the format on that pdf, but I think that might have to wait until the weekend...

I love the weirdly symbiotic relationship between the fandom's object and the fans - that fans even have the opportunity of directly contributing to something that would be used by the actors of their fandom (even if it is Five and Nyssa) is just fun to ponder.
*waves pompoms* Go JJ go! It's worth a shot. At the very least, we might get a nice story out of the effort.

I've finished my summary and sample. Not sure if it's any good, but there you go. I'll probably read it over fifty more times before I send it off to get rejected. I've been using this website to go over the sample dialogue, if that helps anyone else with their efforts: www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.phpIt's kind of amusing, because I've been using Charley (UK) and he's got more than a bit of Tom Baker in him. I'm getting a stitch listening to him doing the Nyssa bits.

Well it beats reading the dialogue out loud and trying to do the voices, as I've been known to do...er...
I got the same email back as you did, so...well, I don't reckon I've got much hope, but *fingers crossed*.

I just hope that someone on here gets it, because that would be wicked cool. Though, odds are, no one will get it, because it's just them pursuing through new ideas, alas.
Oh well, I'm going to pretend that getting two emails (even if they were virtually the same) is somehow significant. Yeah, that's what I'm going to do...

It's very amusing. ;D

It's not so much amusing as slightly odd, but, er, yeah...
And of course Seven with his rrrollling rrrrs...
Er...
I'm a bit jealous of Clocket's two emails...I mean, that's 100% more success than I've enjoyed so far... ;D
