Hello *waves*
I'm another soul won over by JJPOR's yummy, yummy cake.
I'm from a tiny, windy archipelago in the North Atlantic. If you can guess what it is, I might marry you.
My favourite Doctor is Four (the definite article, you might say), followed by One. After that, things get a bit more muddied and the Doctors start fighting for third place. Doctor/Romana is the OTP to me and are always - like Steven Moffat said - somewhere, somewhen together. However, that doesn't mean they can't have a bit of fun in each other's absense.
Now that you've had a tiny, terrifying glimt of my batshit, I shall leave you dreading more. ;D

Welcome! I'm Merry and well a bit of a nutter, but meh, it happens. I refuse to pick a favourite Doctor myself, though Four being my first he is something of the standard to which all other Doctors are held. The ones who have passed are Five, Seven, and Ten (though I even love Six and well all of them they are the same guy).
I'm sure you'll find us welcoming and strange enough for your liking. Tragically I refused to study geography (invisible lines that make people hate one another cannot be for the greater good) and as such am wholly unqualified to guess your home.
as for cake, yes tis very yummy indeed, I like cake.

Hiya, I'm Clocket, the originator of cake, and your friendly neighbourhood admin (though I'm still getting used to that. suddenly moddy power is a terrifying thing you know!)
Anyways ~ welcome to the best lil' DW forum on the interwebs. I'm a big fan of Nine, Seven, and Three, and... well... all of them. It's so hard to play favourites with that kind of awesome.

Welcome Maggadin! I started watching with NuWho, but have been catching up on classic Who. My favorite Doctors are Ten, Nine and Four, but in truth I like something about all of them.
Enjoy the boards, and I hope to see you in the chat box occasionally.

Hello maggadin. I'm very very much a geography person, but all I can think of is... Hebrides, of which I think there are Inner and Outer versions. That's not really obscure enough for a board with UK members though. Now I have to Google the North Atlantic because this is embarrassing. Can't be Greenland or Iceland. Spitsbergen/Svalbard? Faeroe (sp?) Islands, that's something isn't it? North of Scotland maybe? Mull of Kintyre. The song's about you right? No.... Gallifrey, that's an island, isn't it?
Four and Three were the ultimate DW glory days for me. More and more, I think the current program is just coincidentally called Doctor Who but is about a completely different person in a different fictional reality than my Doctor.
Back after a geo-google. Welcome!
Alright, there are the Orkney Islands, then (the) Fair Isle(s), then the Shetland Islands, moving northeast from Scotland. These and the Faroes seem to be transportation hubs between Norway, Iceland, and the UK. Since I had to look that up, I suppose the marriage plans are off.

Well, Magnus, one of your guesses is indeed the correct one, so I'll consider us engaged for now. ;D

*Waves back!*
Say, don't I know you from somewhere? ;D
I happen to know where you are in the world, so I'll count myself out of the marriage competition on grounds of fairness. Besides, last time I was engaged to marry someone on DbyA it all ended in disaster and recriminations (I was to blame - me and David Tennant...).
You know my feelings on Four and indeed on Four and Romana - so I won't give you any funny looks. Ace and Seven are the dream team, of course, but definitely not the OTP. Definitely not. That's wrong. ;D

Hello. I'm also new around here, but people seem friendly, if obsessed with Three, Ten and cake. Besides, last time I was engaged to marry someone on DbyA it all ended in disaster and recriminations Does this happen a lot? Because if so this another thing nobody warned us newbies about. Well, not me anyway. (The last time I got engaged I was 7, so I need a bit of warning before anything like that happens.)

Don't worry, JJ, I'm not against common-law marriage. Which reminds me: should I be worried about polygamy?

Salutations, Maggadin - no matter what your current planned online marital status may be, it sounds like you're in the right place. Four and Romana is luv, and I completely agree with you on that one.
Can't believe how many people are popping out of that cake!

Well, Magnus, one of your guesses is indeed the correct one, so I'll consider us engaged for now. ;D Great! So, traditionally, at what point during the engagement is the man supposed to find out which secret, remote, faraway island his fiancee lives on? Sorry, I'm prying, aren't I.....

Thanks for reminding me. *Gives JJ the evil eye* HI! I'm Newton. I like WHO. I do. Really. That is all.

Can't believe how many people are popping out of that cake! Well, it is bigger on the inside... And of course we don't tell new members of our cult community about the marriage thing - not until it's too late! Er... And sorry to have reminded you of that, Newton; it's still painful for me too...

I'm ok with that. JJ: You know, we can always patch things up.

That's all part of the mystique, you see. You don't know when I'll spring it on you!
So we're big on sharing here? I can dig it.

That's all part of the mystique, you see. You don't know when I'll spring it on you! I'll guess that it's someplace where eels are abundant, and the population travels by hovercraft.

No hovercrafts, as far as I know. I'm sure there's eel around... By the way, everyone, I'm akashasheiress on LJ, in case you should find yourselves friended.
