Oh,that's fantastic in the extreme. And I really want to see those trailers now. A lot.
Also (potential spoilers):
"Tennant's version of The Doctor will appear in an upcoming "Sarah Jane Adventures" episode called "The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith.""
The wedding? Hmm, I've heard that the series is being cancelled for budget reasons after the 3rd season. Can I dare to hope that Sarah-Jane gets to marry Maria's dad, since they were so obviously flirting all through season one and my inner shipper spent every episode going "Can I has the hook-up now?"
No, probably not.
LOL at Barrowman trying to get himself strip searched. Why am I not surprised? At all?
And 50th anniversary multi!Doc special? Bring it on!!

As do I. It would only be right. ... two vids down a fan shouts out that she ate his cake and it tasted very good. I think my favourite bit so far is the "what are you doing next vid" Fan: HARRY POTTER!! DT: *head scratch* I don't think I'm in Harry Potter any more. I think my character got killed. Fan: THE HOBBIT!! DT: Where is this rumour coming from? I haven't got the phone call yet, but I'll keep you posted. FAN: JAMES BOND!! DT: ...I think that James Bond's taken. And he's very good. He's very tough. He could take me. this is all making me gigglefit. I'm either Who-deprived, or sleep-deprived, or both.

Thank you for joining me on the "DT is awesome" bandwagon. It's about time! He has talked about the weirdness of seeing his face on cakes and underpants before.

Okay, I am now officially pumped or stoked or psyched or whatever the cool expression is (I know, I know, I fail miserably at being down with the kids); is it Xmas yet?? Is it??
Glad to have a certain rumour disspelled, for now...a bit dismayed at all the people saying they wanted it though...
And I too must leap on the Tennant bandwagon - what a guy! Will be sadly missed, etc. etc. *oh, I feel so dirty and ashamed now...* LOL'd at his Hobbit comment, and his feeling of inferiority regarding the new Bond. I dunno, I could see Tennant as some sort of evil mastermind type opposing Bond (see the scary St Trinians photo).

The Waters of Mars preview looks interesting. *Seems like a nice example of "base under siege" Doctor Who. And the knocking is very Midnight-esque but I doubt there's a connection. I also have a feeling I'm going to like the new companion based on very little evidence we have so far.* I would comment on the second trailer, but it's rendered me slightly incoherent.
Just so we're clear, I was always on the Tennant bandwagon. The Ten bandwagon on the other hand, is one that I still haven't gotten on. Which doesn't mean I won't be sad when he goes and in fact will probably spend an embarrassing amount of time watching tribute fanvids to sappy music afterwards.

Yeah, an important distinction between the two bandwagons there, IM; there are a lot of Ten stories that I honestly can't find that much love for (and some that I think are just great, though), especially not when he's in self-pity mode. Still, Tennant's a good actor, and likeable in person to boot, and I shall sincerely miss him when he's gone.
Still bracing myself for when he actually does go, though; if you thought the reaction to Children of Earth was extreme... tribute fanvids will be but the tip of the iceberg, I feel. I worry for poor Matt Smith, actually, that he isn't going to be on the receiving end of some fangirl backlash. In fact, Tennant's efforts on the panel there to discourage such a backlash with his comments about Baker and Davison just underline his love of Doctor Who and make me more admiring of him.

aye, David Tennant is such a fanboy, and it was lovely to hear him talk about liz sladen calling him the doctor, that moment, I jumped on the tennant bandwagon, where as I have always liked ten. He truly has been the first Doctor I've liked this much since five ( i mean i love seven but I don't really know about wanting to be his bff or anything lol).
I'll be sad to see him go, but i am also really excited at the prospect of a fresh face in the TARDIS, i just wish they weren't going to allow Journey's End to have broken him, I'd like to think he was made of sterner stuff, but it seems RTD is intent. Perhaps Moffat only liked to kick ten and we can all still hope for a happy eleven?
please bring the fun back to the adventure, k? please? Four was my first Doctor so I got fairly used to fun in the face of fear, and much much laughter, which is why I guess ten and rose don't bug me as much as they seem to bug everyone else (aside from screaming fangirls of which i am not a member) don't get me wrong they DID bug me just not to the same extent

That is an important distinction, one I'm not sure I always made properly in the past, much to my shame. These panels have been the first not-in-character example of Tennant I've seen, and the result is a fall-girl free-fall onto the bandwagon (well, I'm more clinging onto the back bumper than anything, later comer you see, all the prime seats are taken). As for Ten, the nostalgia is hitting hard and I'm finally sucking up and admitting that I do really like him in some episodes. Really. Really like. Though the angst episodes of doom still drive me batty. /// <- bad attempt at making a Ten icon
