you know, many of the actors have said playing the Doctor is a bit like being possessed. I wonder if the "aha the doctor is in moment" that the woman being interviewed is describing is related. As if they snap in and out of character like being possessed. i also must admit I LOOOOVE Yates being redeemed.

I like to think that, in the final analysis, Yatesy was the happiest and healthiest of the whole UNIT bunch. The Brig was happy with Doris (although he still dreamed of his past glory); Benton was (in my personal fanon, anyway!) a wealthy and successful seller of used car, although at the end of the day, the wealth he had gained from that was all he had. Meanwhile, Yatesy had already confronted the darkest parts of his own nature and, whether you agree with transcendental meditation or whatever or not, had come to a sort of peace with himself, and was happy to live out his days as such. Or so I like to think, anyway.
