www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=25232It's detention time for David Tennant as he goes from Time Lord to House Master for St Trinians II: The Legend Of Fritton's Gold.
As if one installment wasn't bad enough, the girls in small uniforms are back - and they're ready for a spot of gold-digging. Searching for the hidden treasure of the legendary Fritton's Gold, the film will see Tennant sizing up to the girls as their arch-nemesis, the mysterious misogynist Pomfrey - part of a woman-hating secret society called AD1.
Also joining the cast will be Girls Aloud 'bombshell' Sarah Harding and softly spoken Ashes To Ashes WPC Monserrat Lombard. Returning for another term are Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Gemma Arterton, Talulah Riley, Jodie Whittaker, Juno Temple, Tamsin Egerton, Celia Imrie and Fenella Woolgar.
The film begins principal photography today, for an eight week shoot at Ealing Studios.I don't think this is true. If it is .... LOLI really need to stop wondering over to Tennant!Love on Livejournal. Newton

1. OH NOES! TAKE SHELTER! DT's eyebrows have run off to join Matt Smith's, Tom Baker's, and the Mona Lisa's. Together they will plot to take over the world via the internet. DO NOT PANIC! REPEAT: DO NOT PANIC! STAY IN YOUR HOMES! The Federal Reserves will be arriving with a pump truck loaded with Nair presently. 2. So, he screwed over and left Doctor Who for this... ? (Ah, I'm throwing bombs aren't I? But still, you gotta say what's on everyone's mind right?) 3. He looks like some kind of creepy chanty alien in that suit. I just keep hear WE-WILL-ASSIMILATE-YOUR-BIO-MATTER (with a Scottish accent, which makes it all the more absurd, but have you seen 'Secret Smile' ) 3. No, seriously. The eyebrows are plotting. 4. Bahhahahhahahahaaa *points and laughs* 5. *runs away, still laughing* 6. I'm totally going to have nightmares about that blank, beady-eyed stare now. Thank you Newton.

Stop making me laugh, my mom is sleeping. Eyebrows taking over ...hahaha it's so funny. I think many girls wouldn't mind being ruled by DTs eyebrows. I have seen Secret Smile, it kind of disturbed me, but I love the ending.

See, I haven't seen the ending; I stopped watching after part one because I was so freaked out (also, I couldn't find part two on yt).
Being ruled by DT's eyebrows... MEEP! MY mother is also asleep in just the next room so don't you dare make me laugh either!!

I had a dream with creepy DT in it last night. I don't remember much, but he was trying to give me a beer. He had this really creepy look. I was like "uh.... no *shifty eyes* Because uhhh, my sisters are near by and they don't like me with you." Then my mom woke me up because my cellphone was going off. Oh, and here is part 2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ViP427AdL0IF you want to watch.

2. So, he screwed over and left Doctor Who for this... ? (Ah, I'm throwing bombs aren't I? But still, you gotta say what's on everyone's mind right?) Oh no, go for it Clocket; bombs away! I just hope it pays really, really well, and that he can sleep at night afterwards... Let me recount my own weird Who-dream. I had it a couple of weeks ago and was going to post about it here, but forgot until I read this. Basically, it was the trailer for the Xmas Special, and it featured Harry Sullivan, of all people, appearing exactly as he did back in 1975 or whenever, suddenly walking into the TARDIS. And Ten was like all "What? What?? What???", as well he might be. And then I dreamed I was going on Youtube looking for this trailer again, presumably because I didn't believe it the first time, but of course I couldn't locate it... Weird, huh?

I saw the Waters of Mars preview shortly before this and this photo was by far the more creepy and disturbing of the two. On the subject of Who-related dreams: a couple nights ago I dreamt that during DW Live (we were watching City of Death) we all got randomly transported to far away where we were attacked by sifakas. And then last night I had this nightmare about Sea Devils, no clue where that came from. They were disguised as monks and were utterly terrifying.

Did you get transported to where I am? We don't have sifakas, but there's about five black-and-white ruffed lemurs at the free zoo. They always act really cute, then scream really loud and make me jump.

Yes, something about lemurs, maybe the big, googly eyes and the noises they make. Kind of unsettling...
Not as unsettling as chimps, though; the way they look at you, and the sort of sense that if they could get at you, they'd do you worse harm than those lions or tigers could possibly conceive of. Yes, I realise chimp-fear may be something unique to me, but I saw that David Attenborough documentary with the big male chimps hunting and eating the monkeys at an impressionable sort of age, and it left its mark on me. ;D
Talking of doing people harm, Tennant does look like he'd mess you up in that picture, given half a chance. It's the Handy!Ten Valeyard, isn't it?!

I saw an add for St Trinians on DVD. Then i saw it in the local video shop. The lady who works in the shop writes little reviews and said it was fun, stupid but fun.

It's the Handy!Ten Valeyard, isn't it?! I think you've pegged it - but did the Valeyard have eyebrows? Hm... And Sea Devil Monks? There's a potential story in that, I'm sure there must be. The Meddling Sea Devil, yeah!

If we get transported to Madagascar to see the lemurs, count me in! We already watched City of Death and avoided any trans-continental transportation, so it seems doubtful. Although, thinking back, I had that dream a few days before we watched City of Death. Coincidence? ...Or something more? Possibly I knew that you had City of Death and that watching it for DW Live was likely.*curls up into fetal position at the memory of Sea Devil Monks, whimpers* They were just so scary!

Newton, your icon has made my life.
On topic:
Er... That was unexpected. I've been terribly misinformed. I thought this was a horror series ( I blame eyebrowless Tennant. I think I just saw that picture and jumped to conclusions. Scary, eyebrowless conclusions...)
But yes, I'd gladly sit through that on a lazy Friday night. It looks like brainless silly fun.

I agree, this looks like a fun, I-don't-want-to-think-tonight kind of movie. My first thought on watching that trailer though was, does the same guy do the voiceover for every movie trailer in the English-speaking world?

This guy: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_LaFontainebut since his death it's diversified a bit.
