Oh gosh, Merry, I hope that you get better and that it wasn't anything too serious. You're in my prayers.

Do you have some crazy ass rash/hives all over your body? I had some crazy ass rash/hives that none of the doctors knew what it was or where it came from. I too was in the hospital and had to get a epi-pen because my throat was closing in. Anyway my family doctor found out what it was and a week later and she had only seen it once before in her 20 something years. She also had to look up in a book about hives and rashes. It took over a month to go away. Two weeks at home from school and two or so weeks of iching in class. I looked like goof. It left a a bit of mark on my legs but it seems to slowly be going away. So pretty much what I am saying is I know how you feel with the mysteries illness and doctors being all useless So best of luck!

Merry, you were missed, and speaking as someone who's had a mystery illness that doctors have had no clue about for 28 years, welcome to a very sad club, but I guess you're going to be drummed out of it soon. I'm very glad you're recovering.
And Newton, that Beatle Dude in your signature would be the late, great George Harrison who wrote "Here Comes The Sun" and many others. Martin Scorcese is working on a documentary on his life right now.

Yikes, almost nothing worse than getting a lot of blank head-scratching when you look to the medical guys for help. I am glad to hear you are getting better - may they soon find out what it was so you don't have to be wondering.
Missed you too!

One thing that is worse is when the doctors have no bright ideas and choose to blame it on you, through a psychosomatic diagnosis or accusation of hypochondria. What a comfort it must be to doctors always to have that option available.... Anyway, let's have some merry-making for the impending return!

Sorry to hear that Merry; we've missed you these past few weeks. Here's hoping that whatever it is it's behind you and you'll be feeling better soon; I'm not the praying type, but I'll be thinking about you.

Merry! I was wondering where you were and if everything was all right. Oh dear. Well, echoing what everyone else is saying - hopefully they'll figure it out quickly and easily and it's not serious. Take care of yourself as much as you possibly can and we should still be here when you get back. *sends cross-internet healing vibes*

It was George who called his hairstyle Arthur... Anyway, "Turned left at Greenland" pops into my head often as an answer to more questions than you might expect.

Anyway, "Turned left at Greenland" pops into my head often as an answer to more questions than you might expect. *shudders* that Beatle dude? The Beatles gave rock it's melody, and Dylan, famously, gave the Beatles pot and then we got "Yellow Submarines" and "Big Blue Meanies" lol, that was half in jest, but truly! Being a second-generation flower-child (does that make me a sprout?) my house is filled with Beatles music. My oldest daughter's favourite is "Ticket to Ride" but then when I was young I preferred the early stuff as well. ALSO, George will always be favourite Beatle, and second favourite person I'll never meet, the first being Andrew Jackson, who, for all his faults, always did what he believed to be right. Wow, okay, so drugs get me talkative, hahaha. I am honestly overwhelmed by the care and concern you have all shown, and if energies and attitude do affect healing then you have all affected mine. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. Now to get back in loop...*goes to look at spoilery threads and wonders how she has become such a spoiler-happy-whovian*

Well, 1n 1964 (when they made those funny remarks at press conferences) the Beatles went out of their way to look alike, as all bands did. Later they very definitely looked different. And merry (re Newton), it takes time to absorb decades of music. I remember listening to all the Beatles albums one afternoon when left on my own in my sister's apartment at age 13. The Beatles were already over and I wasn't sure yet that they'd made good albums!

Magnus, lol, I agree she may not be ready for "Something" or "Nothing's gonna change my world" (pardon my crappy capitalisation my shift key was eaten by a rampaging toddler) but hey least she can rock out to "Hard day's night" rather than Hannah Montana, that's a plus as far as I am concerned.
Newton, no worries, by and large most of today's population is a bit Beatles challenged, I blame Paul he sold the rights to Michael Jackson. *shudders and writhes in horror*

Ok, I am going to defend myself. One - The clip was so fast I couldn't catch who it was. Plus the Beatle was facing away from the camera. Two - I When I took dance class in my school, some dances were danced to Beatles music. I really like the music. Three - In grade school we had to sing "Hey Jude" and "Yellow Submarine". I really liked those songs. I went as far as to asking my mom to rent some Beatles movies. I very much enjoyed Yellow Submarine. My favourite part is when they are in land of holes. Ringo peals off a hole and sticks in his pocket to turn to the camera and say "I've got a hole in me pocket." To this day I say that line when ever I can or feel like it. Unfortunately I was to hyper active to sit through "Help!" Four - For a while, a cover of Tomorrow Never Knows was my favourite song. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUUBWBdCrIEYou watch it there. It is really good and covered by Oasis, Johnny Marr and Cornershop.

*Bites lip* well, key-rud, seems I've done it again. Newton, honestly, I do come in peace, and I meant no harm, and I am sorry if I hurt your feelings or made you feel I was mocking you. the "fast-food" instant gratification culture our shared world seems to have been wholly taken in by bugs me, and really I was complaining more about that than anything you said at all. Also, when I said most of the population was a bit Beatle-challenged, I wasn't referring you, I meant to more clearly delineate that, sorry, I really do hope I haven't personally offended you, my sense of humor does not translate well into type.

No harm done. I didn't feel like I was being attacked. I sort of get an "oh gosh, another brainless teen who most likely only listens to Britney spears" vibe though. All is good so don't feel bad.
