spoilers Has anyone seen this... www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/4926350/Dr-Who-Tardis-to-get-interior-makeover.html?. I honestly don't know what to say or think. Any opinions? "Yes! Bring it on!" "No... how could they...?"
Also, I'm slow on the uptake, but does Matt have a mullet?! I must be getting... something. I blame the sleep-deprivation, because I know I've seen that picture before all had opposite thoughts then, but, mullet and all, he looks strangely attractive in it. .

They also have some bedrooms etc too.

Was that "BBC source" RTD by any chance? The quote contained the phrase "the most xxx x x x x x ever!" so I'm assuming so. ;D
Thoughts:
I don't know about "intricate", but I'd like to see a return to oldschool white walls etc. The TVM look and the current one which is, I guess, derived from it, were fairly radical in their day, but seem familiar now, so I'm not really strongly for or against this. Just as long as they never mess with the police box exterior, I'm happy.

The most XXXXX xxxxx EVAH! just about sums up NuWho under RTD

*sigh* whitedness follows
*I did see this and it affected me more than the regeneration. I like ten remember, but sorry as I was/am to see him go, I think under the current Who-gods, Ten has gone as far as he can. But the TARDIS? It'll be "Turn Left" all over (during that famed episode I saw the Doctor die and was unphased, but the dormant dusty TARDIS being cannablised by Rose and random UNIT members? *weeps* That[/i] was too much for my whovian-heart). The nuWho TARDIS is something I have come to love as much as I once hated and I will weep to see her go. *sniffles* okay, I'm better most high-tech ever, my bum! You can't get more high-tech than early concepts, when you take our own technological advancement at the time into consideration....k, I've lamented enough for now, and, like many of you are doing regarding the dubious casting decision, I, too, shall endeavor to give this a chance.[/color]*

Ah, a new desktop theme. Maybe we'll get leopard skin this time!
I think I like this idea. I love the current TARDIS, but I'm happy to get some change. Just so long as the characters realize that there are other rooms beside the console room, please. Perhaps some references to them even if we don't need to see them.

*ooooooh!!! yes, I quite agree!!! If it's so much bigger on the inside, let us see it has more than one accursed room!!!*
don't think that really counts as a spoiler unless you are fairly good at adding two and two, therefore whitedness preceded

.I heard some where... and ths is internet hearsay mind, that Moffat has been quoted as saying "The audience isn't intested in the ship; they're interested in the destination" the context beginning he was asked about the possibility of more rooms. If this is true then Mr. Moffat doesn't know his audience yes, yes? (though I agree, if every eppy were set totally in the TARDIS that would be boring as anything.

*Not if the TARDIS itself trapped Doctor and companion in there because...it had turned EVIL!!! Hmmm, actually, didn't something like that happen in one of the novels or audios? Or am I just making that up?*

* I was thinking an episode or two entirely in the TARDIS might very well prove interesting, depending on the scenario, not that i like evil TARDIS, lol, just saying.*
sheesh, whitedness above, though i reckon by now you all know that very well

How about a remake of The Edge of Destruction? We could have a companion attacking someone with scissors and Eleven could drug them and try to throw them out of the TARDIS.
That was a fun little story.

I was thinking something very character-driven, especially considering we really don't know this Doctor, I thought that was something they did well in "The Christmas Invasion", gave a very brief, but telling synopsis of their new incarnation. But, I like the TARDIS; am, in fact, rather attached to her, hence not liking the idea of an evil TARDIS. On teaspoon there is a dead TARDIS series by a writer I quite like and it remains the only bit of her portfolio I've not read. So, it wasn't personal, or that it was a bad idea, JJ, sorry I didn't make that more clear.

LOL, Merry, I'm not sure I was that fond of the idea myself! I think IMForeman (and that's a bit formal; can I just call you IM or something?) is onto something with the Edge of Destruction idea, although we'd probably not include scissors or drugging. ;D You know; characters trapped in the TARDIS; crisis situation; hothouse atmosphere, folks turning on each other; telling little character moments. If I knew Moffat's email address, I'd be firing this off to him forthwith!

I'm all for them showing a bit of ambition for a change (no, massed armadas of Daleks razing New York is just spectacle, not ambition! ;D); the way I look at it, they're allowed one "weird" story per season without scaring off the demographic, so I'd love to see something trippy and strange, preferably with old Who actors cropping up in non-familiar roles as well...

I'm all about a multi-doc before ten leaves, so yeah, this so doesn't fit here, but it's JJ's fault! Perhaps, so close to the Valeyard's incarnation a few past Doc's come to check up on 11?

this so doesn't fit here, but it's JJ's fault! Don't blame me! ;D But yes, multi-Doctors, there's no excuse for not having had one yet, what with the 45th anniversary etc. Even if it was only McGann, I'd still cheer.

too late, already did! *points at JJ* see, the devil made me do it!!!
only McGann? That would be sad-making, but still oh so very good! Why not Eccelston as well? even perhaps a few others still alive? Yes, well, they would be old, but still!
