So, I decided to fiddle with Microsoft Office's speech recognition software and, well, it isn't, recognising that is:
last week’s notice cents Wu computer you’re stupid and and I do not say that into the abyss had a heart denied that Manley did not fare well and happened about dumper I’m the great lakes and arrogance and realistic and bones York the been tossed act so deceased get better or worse
that's just a sample of what I've been getting. I have NO idea where any of this is coming from, but I've got two pages of it now. It reads like some kind of weird surrealist fiction and all I've been saying is testing testing 123 (with a few insults thrown in, and the computer seems to be picking those up if nothing else).
Harry Wu bump bump bump up today I can use this tool in the internet is aware of welcome it isn't just confined toward isn't that interesting
translation: "hmm, woo, bump-bump-bump... apparently I can use this tool on the internet as well and it isn't just confined to word, well, isn't that interesting"

Reminds me of a Doonsbury comic that I have in which the first "handwriting recognition" software was the newest gadget to try. The character scribbles "Hello, JJ, how are you?" and she reads "Hell Jars Howard Yo-yo?"
Hee! Bump bump bump.
