Everyone here is aware of the Doctor's odd desire to be ginger. My question is... with only three doctors left... one of them already decided and most certainly NOT ginger... I can't help but wonder.. will he get his wish?

He's had several red-headed companions, Shrody.

Actually, considering that redhead make up less than two percent of the population, a disproportionate number of companions have been ginger. I think there might have been more than those three too..
But none wear glasses.
Therefore, if you want to be a companion, take off your glasses, dye your hair red, and develop a British accent (if you don't have one already). Then put yourself in peril of some sort and wait for the police box.

I hope the doctor picks a friend of mine to be his companion . He is a red head, and his hair is curlier than four. (he sometimes wears glasses though.)

It's not curly, Shrody. It's more... I dunno... "sproingy"? Four's is like a curly afro. Luke's just sorta... dangles.
And if no police box comes, then... then... *looks through manual* Huh? There's nothing in here about the doctor NOT showing up!

Now that you mention it... I'd never considered that before. *tries desperately to think of a companion with glasses* No, I don't think there has been, has there? Interesting...

Maybe they ALL needed glasses, but didn't wear them to make themselves look clever?
Wait... that doesn't work does it?

...develop a British accent (if you don't have one already). Nicola Bryant did that in reverse, and it still worked. The first time I ever heard someone referred to as "ginger" was with Xmas Invasion. I didn't know it meant red-haired. I thought it must be a British expression. Now I've seen a South Park episode about "ginger kids" (red haired and pale with freckles, as opposed to the simply red-haired, whom Cartman referred to as "daywalkers"!), so it's not British, apparently I just don't get out into society much, which I don't. I also thought the rock-paper-scissors game was just British, since I'd only seen it in Destiny of the Daleks for years and years, but no, we have it over here too, and everyone knew it but me. I do know that expressions migrate back and forth though... I heard the word "peckish" pop up on a couple of American TV programs in recent years, with no Brits in sight.

Man, which rock do YOU live under? Now Aldy, play nice. First time I heard a Brit talk about 'shagging' I thought they were going to go carpet shopping.

That's funny, because I've always thought of that as being mainly an American thing The "peckish" thing is interesting, as I think of that as a very British thing to say. It's inevitable, I suppose, with the amount of cultural exposure to each other that we'll swap expressions and colloquialisms. There are a lot of Americanisms in British speech these days - it's quite common here to hear people use the word "dumb" to mean "stupid", whereas when I was little, that was always seen as a very American turn of phrase. These sort of things interest me.
