I finally decided to revive the discussion club thing. So ages ago Seven got three votes and everyone else got none. So a Seven serial it shall be!
Remember not to post until a serial is decided upon.

Looks as though Survival has won! Feel free to begin discussing! ^^
I must say. The cat. That is all.

I like this one more than most people seem to. I like them prowling around Perivale. It all gives me a nice feeling that just walking around my neighborhood, I could be whisked off somewhere, to some exotic alien planet with plenty of rock quarries, and perhaps be torn apart by wild animals. Wait, back that one up a bit. I like the feeling that I could round a corner and get whisked. Off, I mean.
"IF WE FIGHT LIKE ANIMALS, WE DIE LIKE ANIMALS!!!!!" My main complaint here is that Sylvester needs to learn to "project" better. I'll bet they could barely hear him, back on Earth.
At first I thought the Master was just shoehorned into this thing, to have another Master story. after seeing some comments from others on this story, though, I think I like the more understated Ainley Master here, and his being a powerless prisoner, at first anyway, instead of being the same old villain on the verge of universal dominion.
I like that they kept the Master's new cat-nature for the Fox movie, with those yellow cat-eyes...

Oh, I loved this serial. I think it may be my favourite of Seven's. The DVD has the most brilliant outtakes ever with Sylvester taking his little fit of 'DON'T MOVE!!1' to the extreme. (I found it on YouTube! =D Link.)

I love Survival; it's one of my favorites. It has a sort of different feel to it than most of the classic Who; it's set in the modern day and Ace and Seven are wandering around the neighborhood looking for her friends, which makes it feel like the new series. And there's a scary fake-looking black cat. And Seven goes to the store to buy cat food, which I thought was really cool for some reason. And plus it's about cats; what's not to love? (incidentally, my cat sat on my lap and purred while I watched it) I'm going to be bad and put in a shameless plug for my fanivd I made of Survival: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC0uqm_QbcQ

The reaction was very negative at the time of broadcast, I remember... maybe I'm just thinking of the club I was in. Yes, I like that everyday-life feel too. And when I saw "Fear Her", it was clear to me that RTD liked "Survival" too... maybe a little too much! RTD even stole from Delta and the Bannermen! (Idiot's Lantern)
Nice bit of the kind of "attitude" I like and long to see in DW stories, in the character of the buffoonish wanna-be neighborhood drill sergeant. It's nice to see a control freak get transported to another planet where he's totally out of his depth, without any warning.

I haven't seen this one for awhile, but my room mate has recently discovered Seven and has decided that he is 'her' Doctor. So... I think I'll probably be watching it soon.
What I remember:
That classic scene with the Master and the Doctor circling each other.
The Doctor buying cat food.
Villains who were scary because they looked frighteningly like Furries.
The motorcycle crash (which the Doctor escaped without a scratch???)
The classic ending monologue.
I remember liking it a lot. Seven's over-the-topness works for him. Also, Ace. Who was awesome.
I'll post more when I see it.

The Doctor 'buying' cat food. And not paying was fun. But the absolute best part was obviously the outtakes.

You know, I was never a great fan of Survival. Of all the Seven serials, it wasn't the greatest for me. Which sucks, because it was the last.
