I couldn't remember where my last dream thread was. So I decided to start another.
Last night I had a nice proper Doctor Who dream with adventure on alien planets! Well, a lot of walking on an alien planet.
My memory's a bit fuzzy, but to my recollection, it began with the TARDIS materialising in this big bustling city on some Planet That Was Not Earth. There were shops around and the aliens were humanoid, as far as I can remember. And out of the TARDIS came... the Seventh Doctor and Ace! Now, I think I was actually in the dream, I was either myself or a random citizen of the alien city. If I was myself, I've no idea how I got there. Anyway, Seven and Ace start off exploring, and there must be a gap that I can't remember but eventually there was something of a party in the TARDIS (I imagine it's a good place for a party, being so large on the inside). So just about the whole city was inside the TARDIS dancing and such, but the Doctor wasn't there and I think didn't know about it. Ace was though, and I think she said to me, 'Where's the Professor?'. And I dunno how I answered or if I even did. Now, plot point! (I know, my dream actually has a plot!) Everyone in there was drinking something (I can't especially remember what it was), and I asked where to get some. I got directions and went down to this random cellar-like place where... something important happened that I can't remember. I'm sure I got one of the drinks and drank some. At some point I left the party in the TARDIS and found the Doctor. He explained to me that something was wrong here (as per usual) and he needed to find someone or something. And so we started leaving the city. I think Ace was there as well, but I can't really remember. Outside the city, the planet was mostly damp sand, some spots had maybe a few inches of water, but it was very much like the beach, only everywhere. Now, this being Doctor Who (though in my subconscious), we had to start running for some reason. It was important that we get to... some place. But a little before that I started feeling suddenly and inexplicably tired. Like I just wanted to lay down and sleep wherever. And somehow I knew that everyone else felt that way too. Everyone but the Doctor. I'm assuming it was the drinks. But it didn't just make you feel tired, you wanted to lay face-down and sleep. In the water on this sandy planet. And so you drown. While asleep. Some evil plot or something like that. So while running I kept slowing down and eventually got to crawling and then lying down. So I suppose I died. ...Well, that sucks. Instead of waking up at that time, I decided to be just an observer following the Doctor. And so the Doctor's running. And running. And running. For a really long time. Across this empty sand-planet. Eventually he gets to this place with sandy cliffs on either side in this sort of wide trail or something. And so more running. As a defence feature of this place (which isn't very good), a group of large horses come running by to trample anything in their way. The Doctor climbs the left side of the cliff and doesn't get trampled. And more running for just about forever. The Doctor eventually gets to this platform thing where the ruler (or evil alien bent on taking over that world, I'm not really sure which) is sitting in this small throne-like thing. It's a not-humanoid alien, but I can't remember what it looked like. So the Doctor talks to it in the whole Don't Destroy This Planet way that he does so often and I forget what happened after that, but the Doctor saved the day, as he does, and everything goes back to normal. The End.
Blimey, that took a while to write.
