David Tennant's Tenth Doctor is set to meet Peter Davison's Fifth Doctor in a special scene commissioned for BBC One's Children in Need.
The scene, entitled Time Crash, was written by award winning Doctor Who writer Steven Moffatt, and will transmit as part of the Children in Need fundraising evening on Friday 16 November 2007.
"It is an honour for me to be able to make the connection between the Fifth Doctor and the Tenth Doctor," noted Peter Davison. "However, now is not the time for sound-bites. I can feel the hand of history on my shoulder, even if I can't do the buttons up!"
Look out for more coverage on the site nearer the time - and don't forget to support Children In Need and donate on the night!
HUZZAH! If it's written by Steven Moffat, it has to be good. ;D ;D ;D
And Ten's hair officially has a mind of it's own.

I wouldn't count on it with the way they've been nuking the who channels lately. I just checked and isweedan seems to be the only uploader left. *is sad*
I understand why the new seasons and classic episodes that are on DVD are taken down, but unreleased classic episodes??? the BBC isn't losing any profit from them! From what I hear they don't even show them on tv anymore.

It's depressing. We're so very deprived of Who in North America.

The official BBC website says it will host the Children in Need special for one week after it airs, so there is some hope for the rest of the world! Edit: Actually, I was thinking about it and the way they worded it it sounds like you have to actually live in the UK. Those meany heads. Here's where it talks about it, by the way: www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2007/11/12/50656.shtml

Approximately fourteen hours to go...I don't know how I'm going to function tomorrow, knowing people will probably be uploading it and I'll have to wait until late at night to check because I have a full day.
