It's almost like a mix of Three and Ainley!Master. Not that that's a bad thing.

I like the Pertwee-esque pose he's pulling, too: "HAI!"

I wonder if he'll be doing Bond-y chase scenes like Pertwee. I'm guessing a more coordinated and ''elegant'' Doctor than Eleven.

Yes, I like the fierce expression he's got there. Obviously it's early days and we haven't seen him in action, but I'm not sure whether I get the feeling he's going to be like one or other of the older Doctors, except insofar as he just feels generally...oldschool to me. And I'm not just saying that because he's an older actor than we've grown used to in the new series; on mostly-imaginary first impressions, he just seems like a back to basics sort of Doctor to me. Which is something I strongly approve of, and may well be proved wrong in expecting when we actually do get to see him walking the walk and talking the talk, but until then...

Proboards has changed! Where has the chatbox gone? Anyway, the first thing I thought when I saw the costume was Three!, Three!, Three!

Glad it's not just my page, starpanda! Did it ask you to ''upgrade'', too (is it the Cybermen??)? But, yeah, very Three. And looking at the picture I'll be surprised if the vampire jokes haven't started.

As far as I'm aware, the changes to the appearance of the board are a general upgrade across the whole of Proboards, but it has left us without the cbox and with a generic header. I think there are steps that can be taken to remedy this, but as I don't have Admin access it will probably fall to IMF when she's next on the forum.
Back on topic(ish): All I can say is it has been too long since we have had a Doctor/Master sword fight in Who and Moffat should make it so as soon as inhumanly possible.

I like it, but I do hope he gets to mix his clothes up a bit more than we have seen lately. Those are some Firefly shoes there . . . shiny! (Sorry, bad pun. I blame it on the fact that I'm watching Castle, and Nathan Fillion took over my brain momentarily.)

Long time no see, LL! I know what you mean, LL - more a style than "costume". Certainly, the only one set of clothes each of the 80s Doctors seemed to have was a bit strange and silly when you started to think about it, and I think Eleven probably got a bit that way towards the end with the purple coat etc (although thankfully, no question marks!) Mind you, at least Twelve's outfit is simple enough that you could believe he actually did have a wardrobe full of white shirts etc.
