A little bird told me that there used to be a PDF file of "Continuity Error" available in fandom/internet somewhere.
How many of you are familiar with this, and do you know where it currently resides?

I know it existed online up until quite recently - I posted a link to it on here in the thread for A Christmas Carol. Unfortunately, when I went back to check for it, I found that the link was no longer working. Sorry. I don't know if it's possibly available elsewhere or if it's been moved.

Removed, but it still exists on the internet. It's just a bit more difficult to find.
I posted a broken link earlier, so this is my edit to take it out.
It's a great little story. ;D I've messaged you.

Just finished reading Continuity Errors. Liked it. Nice touches of rewriting memories and history... Had a hard time envisioning the Doctor as the Doctor...and wasn't really sure which companion was supposed to be traveling with him. Liked the references to "kidnapped daughters and young women".... half expected the missing daughter was going to be his companion and a reunion was going to be revealed... Aqua tells me that it was written in 1996, a very busy year for Dr. Who...and that Sylvester McCoy was playing him at the time. Ace was the companion. I was envisioning Nine for a brief time, and then thought more of Eleven's bookish nature. Still don't quite get the reference to "Daft Earrings" at the end, unless that's a british expression for superlative beyong Super earrings. In the US, that would be an insult, as daft is stupid. (EX: "What, are you daft man? You can't do that...it'll kill us all!")

You'll probably want to give it a re-read once you encounter Seven in the flesh, so to speak. ;D
He's not really like any of the other Doctors, though him and Eleven do share some uncanny similarities. He's very manipulative of his companions, though he does mean well. Seven is the great chess master. And Ace is... well, she's the runaway teenager who blows things up with homemade explosives. They make a good team those two.
Actually, Eleven, Amy, and Rory as a team are kind of ridiculously similar to Seven, Ace, and Hex in Big Finish... though... that might just be the rhyme, the A, and the nurse.

The companion for Continuity Errors is the spin-off companion Bernice Summerfield, the archeologist professor from the future created by Paul Cornell about 16 years before River Song. (I happen to love both of them. I actually find the similarities fairly superficial, but I'll admit there are certainly a few parallels between the two characters.)
