I did a commentary. A really long one, because I kept finding things that I liked and pausing it to write them down.
Lol at Donna's over-the-top 20's slang.
"Agatha Christie." "What about her?" Hehe.
Professor Peach in the library with a lead pipe! The funny thing is, I was thinking Clue back when I first heard his name, even before he got murdered.
"Plucky young girl? I'll pluck you in a moment!" Oh how I love you, Donna.
"That's like meeting Charles Dickens and he's surrounded by ghosts...on Christmas."
I swear, every five seconds Donna says another thing to crack me up. This is great.
Enormous magnifying glass!
And a token gay character, apparently. I don't blame him; his little friend is a real cutie.
Oh noes, a gun!
Military memoirs, eh? Is that what they're calling it these days?
And afternoon tea! Apparently she likes her tea very strong.
Ok, I got far too much amusement from the various characters' stories part. I kept pausing and rewatching parts to write this down and prolong my amusement.
And the Doctor's story about Belgium! Just when I thought I couldn't laugh any harder!
"Maiden! What does that mean?"
Donna does her cute little gasp noise!
"In 1926 they've still got bees." A disappearing beess reference!
Oh noes, a giant wasp!
Hey, it's the cute friend again!
Hey look, a giant statue. Let's stop and stare at it while it falls on us.
"There's nowhere to run. Show yourself!" And then the suspects all appear at once. And then the Doctor says "hey, that's cheating." So awesome.
I just realized, the butler's named Greaves. It sounded so much like Jeeves I had to go back and relisten.
"Miss Marple; who writes those?" Oh no Donna, you've done it again!
The Doctor's been poisoned!
Wait a second, this scene looks suspiciously like...no, it couldn't...could it?
It is! The kiss scene from the preview! Wow, that was...unexpected, to say the least.
Hi, I'm the Doctor and I can expel huge amounts of white smoke from my mouth.
Oh noes, a dark and stormy night!
Ooh, scary.
"Well we know the butler didn't do it." Yes. I was waiting for that line.
The unicorn! And if she's not a killer, why did she have a gun in her purse?
He can walk! And he kept it from his wife for eight years? Wow, they must have a frosty marriage or something; you'd think she'd have found out
somehow.Wow, Lady Edison looks really good for a woman of nearly sixty.
"So she killed them?" 'So she killed them?" "So she did kill them?" Donna's not very good at this, is she?
Whoa, now
that is one cool plot unveiling. If more murder mysteries had giant wasps I'd actually read them.
It's a blue Bessie! And a black Bessie!
Hey, a random old treasure chest filled with cybermen stuff and that Karrionite crystal ball and white plastic heads. The Doctor is such a packrat.
And the trailer...looks intriguing. It's a shame we have to wait two weeks.
