Squee. so this episode is like marmite some love it some hate it. I liked it.
I liked it..actually. Compact story I think needed a little more detail to pad it out..but other than that. I liked Jenny (or thinking how the name was thought up maybe it should be Geni)
I had no problem with her being a clone, yet not a clone. The bit at the end was a bit cheesy (the ship looked abit like capt jacks old one)
some nice lines and Martha was less wooden than in the sontaran episodes.

Personally I loved the episode. At the beginning I didn't like Jenny, but then at the end I actually wanted her to be with the Doctor, he became somewhat less emo-y (I made up a new word ) when he was with Jenny. I don't know, but the end for some reason made me feel like something like s pin-off might occur, but who knows?

I really liked the episode! ;D
My favorite part was Jenny. I really think she has loads of potential. I really want her to return at some point and perhaps become a companion of the Doctor's in the future. ;D

Commentary!
Ooooh. I knew they’d do something like that. Still, bit of a shout-out to Peter. =D Of sorts.
No! Not Martha! She just came back!
xD Donna being awesome again.
Martha! Being doctor-like. And saving fish-people. xD Doctor Martha Jones
They’re fish-people. Duh, Doctor.
xD Let’s pet Martha! (And Martha can grin nervously)
…God(dess)?
Doctor and genocide. Hmm.
Hehe, Donna’s entertaining.
xDDDD Rose isn’t the series arc, it’s the Doctor and Donna not being a couple.
Let’s all worship Martha!
Yay, prison! You should be used to this, Doctor.
Haha. ‘Technically, I’ve no time for this.’
xD Awkward Doctor is Awkward.
Yay! War!
Omg, the suspense… Two hearts, y/y, Doctor?
Nice father you are, Doctor.
Genocide, Doctor!
Blub Blub.
Lol, here comes the snog. And there it is.
Signs of a bad guard.
Haha, Donna! xD
xD Mouse. Wow.
They’re not using that battering ram very forcibly.
That looks to be very cold.
xD ‘Oh, come off it. You’re the most anomalous bloke I’ve ever met.’
Saves planets, mostly.
Running! I’d be an awful companion. I’m slow.
Sonic Screwdriver, mayhaps?
…That shouldn’t work.
Aww. Daddy’s proud.
Martha! You fell. Like a companion. Why?
Dude. Fish-person. Thanks for saving Martha, but… seriously.
Companion! Y/Y, Doctor? =D
No Susan ref…?
Martha’s looking a little worse for wear…
Donna’s on to something…
America’s backwards.
Well. That’s interesting.
Yay, reunion!
Flowers…?
Wow. A garden. Or, rather, jungle… How BBC sets have improved.
Wow. We need that. More environmental stuff.
Dude! Not cool! …We can has regeneration?
Regenerate… WTF. Why not? Time Lord DNA. Why not?
Dude! Doctor! WTF! (and of course that’s where the YouTube part ends.
Wow. The need to stop killing would-be awesome people. Why couldn’t she regenerate? I ask you… (Yeah, I know. I actually liked her. I dunno how many people will feel the same as me. (Obviously I haven’t read any spoilers by now.))
WTF? That doesn’t explain anything, Doctor.
Well. No companion mash=up yet, then.
Regenerate… omgwhut? Hah! Yes! But still. Not a companion. D=
Haha, Doctor II.
Next Time: =D Awesome!
After reading the thread, yes! I'm not alone in liking Jenny! =D
But more spin-offs? Really. I'd just want her to be a companion.

Now I think of it, this may be the Beeb's way of continuing Doctor Who after the Doctor dies. They had to have realised that the Thirteenth Incarnation is coming up, so by making a daughter for the Doctor, they can have her continue the series for another 40+ years. So sort of spin-off once the show's over. And hopefully some cameos before. I still would really love her to be a companion.

Yeah Jenny would be a good compaion..but I suspect they'll be a spin-off of some sort.
That bit made me laugh.
very classic who.
commentary says its a proper garden centre place in wales.
did you get to see the regenration in the end..or the not quite a regeneration Capt Jack back to life moment.

Yes... I continued my commentary to the Next Time trailer and knew there could be spin-offs and such.

I'm tossed. I really want Jenny to comeback, but I don't know if I prefer her as a companion or in her own spin-off. I sort of would like her as a companion for a bit, like her way of learning to be a time traveling, meddling problem-solver, sort of Time Lady. Then perhaps later she runs off, like Romana, to live her own life and her own adventures. ;D That would be okay. What do you girls and guys think?

What I would love is if she came and was a companion for a while, and then continued the series once the Doctor's finished off. 'Cos we really haven't had a companion dynamic like that since Susan, and I think Jenny would make an awesome companion. And I think we have more than enough spin-offs as of now.

You know, you're right. We need that family dynamic back. Maybe then the Doctor will have someon, like Susan, that he can talk to about things that the human or alien ones can't understand. I have an urge to petition for that... but I know it would never come of anything. What I would love is if she came and was a companion for a while, and then continued the series once the Doctor's finished off. 'Cos we really haven't had a companion dynamic like that since Susan, and I think Jenny would make an awesome companion. And I think we have more than enough spin-offs as of now.

I dunno. I think the petition for a Harry + Giant Clam action figure is getting pretty far. Just have to advertise like mad and/or know the right people.

Yay, I saw it! And it was really great. I loved Jenny and her perkiness, and David Tennant's acting was amazing. And Donna continues to be awesome. The only thing that bugged me about this episode was that they didn't seem to know what to do with Martha. First she was screaming and helpless then she was being all tough and fearless and then she was tripping for no reason and...it just felt like they were wasting the Awesomeness of Martha, like there wasn't room amongst all the Awesomeness of Donna and the Awesomeness of Jenny and the Awesomeness of Ten.
Oh yeah. The fish people were cool.

1. This Episode sucked major bum. It was just like every other Episode. OH look, a world that has ended. Oh look two people at war. THINK OF SOMETHING NEW! 2. Jenny is annoying 3. No spinn-off for Jenny. She is going to work for Torchwood ... sadly. 4. I really don't like Jenny. She's only been alive for a couple of hours and already she is like "omgosh, my dad rocks, I rock! I'm timelord!!!" 5. I can't see her as a timelord. They cut open the doctors hand and BAM, a full grown timelord. It isn't realistic, even for Doctor Who. 6. I cheered when Jenny died. Though The Doctor acted the same way when The Master died. 7. The lady who plays Martha needs to learn how to cry on the spot. 8. I love Donna but she failed me this time. 9. Why does Martha keep getting kidnap? Also, Martha was a much better person last season. This season she just gets kidnapped and talks about how she is better off at home. 10. Last but not least. The Doctor is always emo being the last timelord. Then a "timeloard" comes along and he is all whinning and bitchy that there is a new timelord. Like he LIKES BEING THE ONLY TIMELORD!!! NOTHING MAKES YOU HAPPY!!!! *Slaps The Doctor*
... this is random but this is how I feel.
On other news, they keep showing The Doctors Hand In A Tube throughout the series. Maybe the hand will have a big part for the final?

I agree about the Martha thing. She didn't seem to have much of a part, besides being the person to show us the Hath side of the war. I think if the writers or producers had made this into a two parter it would have been better for all aspects, alonging more time to develop the characters relationships and plot points. Here's hoping if she does return again, they give her more of a part of play. Oh yeah. The fish people were cool. I enjoyed them too, but I still don't understand why the TARDIS didn't translate their language for us.

they said in the commentary it was because the hath talked in bubbles which the tardis couldn't translate audibly. That's why martha could understand and we couldn't.
