Despite it being a children's show, I've found myself quite enjoying SJA. It's nice to see how a past companion is getting on, and the Doctor and Classic references make me squee. ^^
And am I the only one that thinks Maria's dad, Alan, is rather good-looking?
What's the reason K-9 has to be doing whatever to a black hole and can't be in the show more?

I think its almost better than new DW sometimes....its not all bogged down with romance...just gets down to business.
oh, and as for your crossed out statement....no your not the only one.

Nope, definitely not the only one. My only hope is that they don't try to pair him off with SJ... that would just be awkward.
I really like what I've seen of the show so far though. Much better than the crap I mean interesting DW season finale. Sarah-Jane is such the coolest companion. Mr. Smith kind of freaks me out though.
And I miss K-9

I'm convinced that Mr. Smith plays the theme music when he opens. It's not just background sound.
I'm glad we get to see what's happened in Sarah's life since leaving the Doctor. It'd be nice to know what happened to some of the other companions. But that would be too many spin-offs.

ARgh... I've just heard that Mr. Smith goes evil in the finale. I was right!!! but the Beeb has done a good job deleting everyone posting SJA. They drive me crazy. If the show aired in Canada do you think I'd be going online to watch it? -shakes head- But nooooo, CBC picked up Torchwood (I think, haven't really checked) but three spin-offs is three too many so they won't show SJA. Damnit! I HATE TW!!!

There is someone on Youtube who's managed to outsmart the system by naming things wrong, for example Warriors of Kudlak got changed to Warriors of Fox, and stuff like that.

People can PM me for the aforementioned person on YouTube.
Please don't publicly post a summary of the episodes here without a spoiler warning clearly labelled. A lot of us prefer to watch than to read.

That was a bit convient wasn't it?

This has been bothering me. If the Zylock was so intent on smashing up Earth why did it deflect that astroid in What ever happened to SJS?

To appear innocent. And to have a good climax for the finale.

There was planty of times he could of let earth get smashed but he didin't...but maybe he needed a certain type of destruction to release the zylogs.....sounds a little like zygons...related perhaps?

Am I the only one who thinks Maria looks nothing like either of her parents and is clearly adopted?

I wondered that myself. She has this beautiful dark curly hair and olive-toned skin, and her parents both have Scandanavian light skin and brown hair.

it might be a fun plot line for them to explore later on... or not.
in any case, a season 2 can't come soon enough. SJS rocks on so many levels.
One of the main ones being: she's a sixty year old woman and she's an action hero. And with all the sterotypical images thrown about in the media that's a beautiful, beautiful thing (that and the plots and acting rock)
