I liked how they created six and Jamie stories without it being all timy wimy and dumb and confusing.
They acknowledge that the guy who plays Jamie is older now, he can't do the young innocent Jamie voice anymore!

NEWTON YOUR SIGGY IS TRYING TO EAT MY SOUL!!! *hide*
I haven't actually listened to the Six and Jamie stories yet. Though I've got one sitting on my hard drive waiting for a good moment.
Speaking of audios (and driving this thread even MORE off-topic... is that's even possible?) has anyone listened to the freebie Big Finish released this weekend?

WHEN WESLEY SNEJDER ATTACKS! NNAAAARRRRGHHH!!! I think there's a team working on salvaging what they can from the original TV version of Shada, and I think there are still some unused Six scripts still knocking around that, if the Six that made it to screen is anything to go by, could be just the ticket. And as Clocket points out, Big Finish are responsibly doing their bit to tackle the energy crisis with such high-handwaving products as the Six-Jamie and Four-Yatesy stories... And no, I didn't take advantage of the Big Finish Bumper Bonanza last weekend, although now I'm starting to think that I should have...

Last I heard there was some discussion about how to get the most from Shada - whether to use the video with linking narration by Tom Baker, the small clip from the Five Doctors, the BFA with Eight, or perhaps even the bits that Douglas Adams recycled for his Dirk Gently novel. Interestingly, this discussion alone powered a small town in Scotland for a week. Speaking of audios (and driving this thread even MORE off-topic... is that's even possible?) has anyone listened to the freebie Big Finish released this weekend? Yup. It was promising and I'm looking forward to getting the rest of the story when it comes out. Plus an awful lot of it is just Tegan and Turlough bitching at each other. Bless.

I am more excited about this than even S5. It had better be good. ;D (I didn't listen to the first ep, as I wanted to wait - no way am I not getting those audios.)

The actors can't really do the voices anymore, so it's a bit distracting, but I was really REALLY into it by the end of the first part. Tegan and Turlough bitching away at each other makes it all worth while.
