Hello! I'm here via Clocketpatch's Teaspoon page.... Thought I'd pop in and say hi!
I came to Dr Who through New Who and now I stay for the classic stuff. Sometimes I write, a lot of the time I read other people's writing and wish I had their ability, and most of the time I just enjoy it.
So...hi, guys!!

Haha! I haven't lost the pied piper knack yet! Welcome brunhilde! I too came in through the new and am now obsessed with the old. Though, at the moment, I mostly seem to be obsessed with Eleven... This here be a good place no matter your Who-fix though. Post away or chat in the c-box. The rule of thumb is random = good.

Ah, the Clocket hath struck again! She's quite good at that. Welcome, brunhilde, we're happy to have you here. Poke about the corners and post something nice. Which Doctor and/or companion(s) do you most readily associate with? We love them all here, but most of us have a tendency to plant our flags of favoritism in one spot or another...or have multiple flags. ;-)

We love them all here, but most of us have a tendency to plant our flags of favoritism in one spot or another...or have multiple flags. ;-) Hehe, multiple flags it is...Three, Four and Eleven, in no particular order (Wait, Eleven? How did he sneak his way in to my top three?!). Although I'm inordinately fond of all of them, with the exception of Six for the reason that I haven't brought myself to watch any of his stories yet.... Oh, and it's my personal canon that the Doctor's final regeneration was Joanna Lumley and that he spent a good proportion of his last incarnation drinking, smoking and doing drugs as Patsy Stone. Just saying....

Six is an acquired taste, watching his shows can be painful but it's good pain that makes you stronger, lol... you have to squint past the horrid costuming and whiny companion to find him but once those are out of the way he's really not bad. There are big SIx fans out there in good part because of all the audios he did in which he more than redeemed himself from what the writers saddled him with onscreen.
That said, I am completely with you on a certain one of your top Three...er, three but I never tell anyone who my favorite is and certainly never write any stories about him or have him in my icon....oh, no... not me. ;-)
Four was jolly fun and Eleven reminds me a bit of him and of Two as well, I expect if the writers don't ream him like they did poor Six, he'll have a very strong following. Good picks!

Hello there! Welcome! Another Clocket recruit, I see, and another Three fan (lots of those about here). As the others have said, this is a really friendly, welcoming sort of place, so feel free to post whatever you want about whatever you feel like; it takes all sorts, as they say. I'm a confirmed Seven fan, among other Doctors, but I've been really enjoying the new season; I think Eleven is on his way to being one of the greats. So yes, welcome again and I hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome Brunhilde! I love your name. I also love your theory that Patsy Stone was actually the Doctor! I love all the Doctors, even poor old Six. Do you post your fic on Teaspoon, and is it under this same name?

Yup, I post on Teaspoon under this name, for what it's worth! And librarylover - I'm rather fond of your name too. Definitely the right thing to do, love libraries (Meanwhile...is it bad that I'm tempted to write some sort of Ab Fab/Dr Who crossover with Patsy as the Doctor? And is it even worse that I know it would be a terrible thing and want to write it anyway?!)

I approve of this AB FAB/DW cross over!

Whenever I have a fic idea that just seems...wrong...I always end up writing it; those are the ones people seem to really ike (don't know what that says about people ;D).

I know right? You spend all of your time slaving away on some lavish chapter fic... but all anyone actually wants to read is the disturbing one-shots.

Ah yes, but you've got to love the disturbing one-shots....
Often they're the ones that do the most permanent damage to your brain. I mean, seriously, there are images from synopses alone on Teaspoon that I struggle to get out of my head!

Welcome, Teutonic brunhilde. I issue the official permission slips here, to do questionable things when there are really urgent cultural reasons, such as WhoFabFic in which Patsy is the 13th regeneration, for the sake of all that is or isn't holy. Hereby receive my offical sanction to write all those things that seem like you shouldn't ever write them, no matter what. That's the best stuff, believe me. Take it from the man who wrote Giant Radioactive Lobster Naked Ten Cakefic already. Your best judgment is but an evil voice chattering away in your head, taunting you so that you will lose your nerve, and fall short of greatness!!
Hi, by the way. I'm Magnus, I think. I am a veritable Four maniac, followed by Three, then other classic Doctors, not because Nine through Eleven are bad (Ten's great), but because it's really more magic than science fiction now. Forgive me please.

I admit of the audios I only listened to The One Doctor. Which was brilliant! It sure is!! I really recommend ANYTHING with Evelyn because she rocks the TARDIS with her cake. Also, because she's past retirement age and has a heart condition but still manages to keep Six in line (and saves him from the baddies half the time) and she has History Skillz. *loves it*

Heh, I love odd crossovers! Go for it! ;D
And, hi, I've seen you about, writing Brig/Liz fic, which is a thing i approve of mightily.
Besides, we here are pretty much all perpetrators of cake!fic, so what can we say?
