A Quick Cry with the ol' mates.

Hey, it's me, that crazy boy Aldy.

I haven't shown my face around here for some time now, but I wanted to pop in quick and say hello and that I haven't forgotten all the beautiful people here.

Also, I haven't distilled what's left of my whovianisim to miss the final Tennant episodes, and I enjoyed them sublimely. Several tears were shed. Of laughter, of joy and of sorrow.

In any case, I was thinking of Good old DBA and thought I'd share in a group cry for good old Tennant. I'll miss him, as his was my first doctor. He lived a good life, he did, as the doctor, and we'll all miss him terribly. Good show, David. Good show. You're a true legend.

But here's also to several several more wonderful years of Doctor Who to come. May that blue box and it's owner never die. Long live the doctor.

Here's to the new year and to a new season. Happy 2010 everyone. Bless ya.

Good to hear from you again Aldy - hope all is well with you and that you have a great 2010 and maybe drop in again from time to time. ;D

And it is, as you say, the end of an era, but as always with Doctor Who the beginning of a new one. So, while there may be things we'll miss (and I think I'll miss David Tennant as the face of who - a quality actor and a great ambassador for the show and the fandom, who I hope continues to prosper in whatever he does next), I'm looking forward to the next Doctor and his adventures and hope it will continue to be the great success it has become. It's all part of the great circle of Doctor Who - the king is dead, long live the king, etc etc. ;D

I concur with you. I will miss DT and #11 has some huge shoes to fill. Having said that I will keep an open mind and give him cut him some slack. If he is horrid and rating slump, I'm sure he will regenerate faster.
