Hello! I am PhoenixWytch AKA Jennifer. I am fairly new to Doctor Who, but fell in love with it with the first episode I watched. Since my first view of the Doctor and TARDIS, I have watched every episode I could get my hands on.

Welcome PhoenixWytch!
Most of us around here are sane, at least most of the time. I started watching with New Who, but have been catching up on classic Who. I love all the Doctors, in a slightly individualized way, but my favorites are Nine, Ten and Four.

Hello PhoenixWytch!
I too started with Nuwho, and then sort of went crazy and watched/listened/read everything I could get my greasy little paws on. Heh. Nine has that effect on me.
Welcome to the forum, and do feel free to jump in anywhere, resurrect dead threads, start new topics, chat in the c-box, etc. etc. We might all be stark raving mad, but the people here are nice. (just don't be surprised when things go way... way... off topic)

Welcome, join the crowd - if you're looking for others who have that "Must....watch...the DOCTOR" obsession, you're in the right place.

Welcome aboard! New blood, as they say...
Hmm, that came out sounding a bit sinister, didn't it? ;D
I've sort of come at it all from the opposite direction from some others - I was into the old series before the new one started, and so naturally started watching it - why wouldn't I? So if some of my comments about New Who seem a bit harsh at times, it's because I'm an embittered supporter of the days when it were all quarries and bubblewrap; people are remarkably understanding about it! ;D

all quarries and bubblewrap Yes! Bring it on! Let's start a petition for an episode in which the giant glowing bubblewrap creatures in a plot-twisting alliance with the Tin-foil Monsters suddenly invade every quarry in Britain and only the Doctor accidentally looking just like their Leader (except with his hair combed) combined with his companion's surprising anti-alien repelling Scream can chase them off..... booyah! I love old Who.

Bonus points if there's a randomly-occurring Big Scary Monster that doesn't have a whole lot to do with the plot but _is_ played by two guys in a badly fitting pantomime-horse costume...
