Sorry... but now that I've decided it's time for me to go back and try to absorb and respond to a couple of old issues on the board, which people were kind enough to answer me on.... I can't find those old threads. I prostrate myself, and ask pathetically for help with this.
(1) Clocket made me a fine multi-colored chart showing how classic Who's Time-Lords-Is-Everyplace and NuWho's Time-Lords-Ain't-Anyplace can be reconciled without busting up all of Creation. I've PMed her, received a response, and I feel fairly confident that she's willing to repost the chart. On to issue #2...
(2) Someone, possibly LibraryLover but sorry if I've misremembered 'cause my brain goes away... someone made useful remarks about the history of DW in the UK, with thoughts on its being made and seen as a children's program, and/or a family program, and what all this may mean.
You see, I'm the only human being in the world who is actually troubled by the issue of whether DW is a children's program, so please bear with me. I'm ready to go back and read those thoughts, but I forgot that people can bookmark things, and would be grateful to be told which thread on this board I'm talking about.
Please?

I'm searching around the site - I know the threads you mean, but haven't managed to find them yet...

Magnus, the Children's TV thing was me, mostly, I think. And it was, inappropriately on the Sixth Doctor thread, so I'm not surprised you couldn't find it.
I basically said it was a family show, and, really, always has been, which puts it in a different position to both adult and children's drama. And wrote loads of stuff about things I know very little about.

Is this the thread? If so, then I think this may be the chart.

Thanks very much everybody... comments later when I've sufficiently anesthetized myself.
