Let's face it, we all want to be the insane evil Master, don't we? Hands?!
Anytime some frail human-ish being has the gall to hold the universe hostage, even for a few minutes, sorry, but I have to respect it.

Let's face it, we all want to be the insane evil Master, don't we? Hands?! Me! Well, I might hold off a bit on all of the senseless murder and stuff, but holding the universe to ransom seems like fun! First, I've just got to grow the beard...

Oh by all means! And we want pictures.
I, for one, am beard-growing challenged and therefore cannot rule the universe, darnit.

Don't grow a beard. They aren't fun. Imagine being all scratchy and hot and annoyed.
Enjoy, won't you? -Clifford

You don't need a beard to rule the planet, look at Queen Elizabeth the first. Though, it's true, you can't trust a bearded man. The way the stroke their beard, looking around with their shifty eyes.

Alas, but I am also beard growing challenged. All I can grow is this bloody unibrow. Argh.
Agreement with Aldy; JJ must grow a Van-we'll just assume I was talking about water control methods in Holland and then post habit pictures. It's the only way to save the universe!!!!!

JJ that tears it!!! you are being possessed by your icon, you must switch icons to save your soul....would the next one possess you too? It is a frightening possibility, and one that makes me reluctant to change my icon again, now that my icon-possession susceptibility has come to light. I mean, there are worse things you could be possessed by than Ainley!Master, like...well....er....for instance...er...I'll get back to you on that one... To shave or not to shave? That is the question. I did actually have a beard at one point, but it was more of a lazy-student-can't-be-bothered-shaving sort of beard, not the universe-enslaving type. And it was kinda ginger, as well, which doesn't bode well for my cosmos-crushing credentials... As for photos - I doesnae do photos, as Jamie might say - how could I maintain my secret identity then?

Well, someone who's self-conscious about a truly crappy beard just might make a certain sort of career decision, to try to, you know, take over that rather big thing we call the Universe. In fact... I now realize that my beard is in fact considerably crappy, therefore... who better than I to administer the cosmos correctly?

And when you start thinking thoughts like that, it's just a short and slippery slope to "the universe could be mine...in fact, it should be mine! It will be mine!" From that point on, however, things tend not to end well...

ooooh but JJ, consider the possibilities, man! If you were to get possessed by say...RTD you could tell us what was going to happen in advance (whited out of course). Or if this possession thing works both ways, you could save the series finale!!

You mean, use my evil for good? Er, waitaminute...
I like your thinking, though; if I was possessed by RTD, then RTD might be possessed by ME, and then I could use my newfound position of wealth and power to inaugurate a new era of Doctor Who! Today Cardiff, tomorrow the universe!!!
Er, nope, sorry; that was still the Master, wasn't it? ;D

JJ. I now command you to take possession of Rusty and make sure that the final edits of the finale are a worthy exit for Ten (and none of this "it's the most Epic Angst that ever was Epic, and ooo, look! a distraction!" nonsense).

dignity? no. Laughter, ten just needs to go out laughing like he came in so we can remember he was happy and fun. I hold out little hope for either dignity or laughter though.

I mean, all joking aside, that is what we all want, isn't it; a really dramatic, epic, tragic, heroic ending worthy of a Doctor who has, let's be honest, been one of the better ones, at his best (and that is a pretty big qualifier - let us talk not of all of the times he hasn't been at his best!). And, as much as we'd like to think that RTD will come good in the end, things like the last five minutes of Last of the Timelords, or the last twenty minutes of Journey's End, suggest that...well, it'll be a miracle if we do get that. And for some unaccountable reason, that makes me a bit sad.
