I had another Two-era dream last night -- the Doctor and Jamie, with UNIT, trying to track down one of the small, fast, vicious aliens that seem to crop up in lostspook's stories. Except this one was invisible. And the omniscient narrator gave me a brief glimpse into its mind; it wanted to find a journalist so it could announce its presence on Earth and gain diplomatic immunity. By the time I woke, the Doctor, Jamie, Benton and a random UNIT redshirt were hiding behind a wall, the alien was on the other side of it, and the redshirt had tried to capture the alien and had his chest cut open for his pains.
(It was a season 4 story rather than 6B, because Ben and Polly got a mention. Which means, now I'm awake, that the military organisation should have been ICMG rather than UNIT. Details...).

I'm very jealous that you dream DW stories. And, as for the rest, er, well, some of them are psychic as well. My next ones will be brightly coloured, large and blobby, just for a change. I know it's heresy, but I am so not into DW for the monsters... (And I would like to make it clear I charge no fees for the muse thing. It's just one of those freakish things that happen in Nameless. I think I might have to pay John to stop... Well, if it weren't for the fic.) But I want better dreams. I dreamt last night that my friend was telling me about some scandal, all because someone had an inappropriate swimming partner. I mean, what??? Why??? (The only explanation I can come up with is that I was watching HIGNFY last night, but still...) And then I was about to be operated on, but that was much later and it occurred to me that I was dreaming, I'd had enough of stressy dreams and woke up instead.

I'm very jealous that you dream DW stories. I haven't attempted to convert any of them to actual fanfic, though. My next ones will be brightly coloured, large and blobby, just for a change. Well, you did do that very brief Teletubbies Storytime... I know it's heresy, but I am so not into DW for the monsters... I don't think I've created any monsters at all in my fanfic, so you're still ahead of me there. (And I would like to make it clear I charge no fees for the muse thing. It's just one of those freakish things that happen in Nameless. I think I might have to pay John to stop... Well, if it weren't for the fic.) - Uncle Henry thinks he's a chicken. - Why haven't you taken him to a psychiatrist? - We need the eggs. I don't think I can stop getting fic ideas from casual remarks, but if you think the joke's getting old I can leave out the chains of logic from the remark to the final fic.

I had a good one wherein I was Eleven a few days back, and I tried to post it, but the internet timed out and now I don't remember. However I did have two other amusing dreams: On Sunday morning my mother knocking on my door to wake me up for church, but I'd been dreaming that I was the Master, and then I got the tEoT part one mixed up with reality and decided that I didn't have to wake up because I'd turned everyone into the Master, so therefore my mother was the Master, and that meant I didn't have to wake up, and wasn't that clever of me? (I did wake up, and it was a good sermon too) Then, this morning, I had another dream. This one wasn't exactly DW-related, but it was totally predictable, seeing as how I just marathoned the first series of Life on Mars. Yes, I dreamed that I was Sam. And I thought my alarm clock was the life support machine trying to drag me back to consciousness. It was surreal.

While I was away from you, I had a dream!
And, despite my grumbling about my dull work-related deams, this one was actually about DbyA and even had a plot. I need to apologise in advance, because Clocket and I played the starring role in this, other than Primsong, who, well... I had to write it down at the time, or I'd have remembered none of it (and now I'm looking at it, I'm going, eh? what? but shall do my best).
We were all talking (online, or maybe actually, in the dark) and then someone turned on the lights and there we all were in my old chapel (which isn't really very chapel-ish, stop with any shaped windows, stained glass etc, because it's all very high ceiling and magnolia walls) and we could all see each other, which took us back for a moment, but then the most of us just settled on the sofa (there was one there, with a TV, too) to watch Doctor Who and, i'm afraid took little part in the rest of the dream, although I did pause to wonder which of the two guys was John and which was JJ (but didn't consider for a minute either might be Magnus, but then you do tend to notice 51st C deformed villains ranting). Then I remembered that JJ claimed to look like a Sontaran and I made my guess, although didn't dare test it out... I'm pretty sure Newton was there, probably Merry, too, but beyond that I'm a bit vague.
Primsong's son was sitting on the table at the front of the hall and talked to us all about stuff I can't remember now. (I know... I know Prim definitely has daughters, but I don't recall any mention of a son. I don't know what was with my brain. He was about 9.)
At that point, we found a walkie talkie on the table which flared into life and Clocket picked it up and it was Primsong, who had left us cake (seriously!) and what I think started off as a sort of solve the mystery game, but certainly turned into a serious save-the-planet from Primsong! thing (Prim, you're a villainness! Are you impressed?)
Everyone else showed a definite lack of interest in the imminent destruction of things and carried on watching DW. It was the Time Warrior, but Sarah had a lime green outfit on and it was not at all like the actual episode, so maybe that was why you all didn't want to miss it?
However, Clocket and I set about solving the mystery and I went upstairs (my old chapel has a great mysterious, run down upstairs), at which point I called in the police and we searched for clues around there, the clinching evidence being finding that white stuff you put tiles on with and a scraper. (Prim had been doing deadly tiling?? Weird brain, okay, I know). The police believed me about Prim's villainy at this point and I spoke to Clocket via the walkie-talkie.
Then walked back downstairs, feeling very smug because we had stopped anything blowing up and solved the mystery and woke up, feeling very cheerful.
I'm sure the plot was more detailed than that, but it's probably better not to know.
I'm not sure whether you should all be impressed or run away very fast.

*cue Hartnell laughing* : Hoo hoo hoo hoo! hee hee!
What, did I make the cake out of deadly spackle? Is this a subconscious commentary on my cooking abilities? X-D
My son (who is 16 but has been known to behave as if 9) thought it vastly amusing to be in your dream, and sitting on the table rambling on about stuff no one can quite remember later is totally him. He's into the lego/bionicle fandom and half the time it sounds like he's talking in some geeky Polynesian dialect as a result, between that and his blow-by-blow renditions on either the military spy novels or Archie comics he's reading at the time we really don't remember too well. Anyway... your brain was closer to reality than you think... but what that says about JJ actually being a Sontaran I'm not sure.
What I really loved was how everyone not only sat down to watch Who, but how you recognized The Time Warrior and that Sarah-Jane's outfit was different. Hee!

Welcome back there, lostspook; hope you had a reasonable Xmas and all that...
I'm just flattered to have a cameo role in someone else's dream, actually; and I totally would watch the Time Warrior obsessively anyway, but especially if Sarah was wearing some unexpected outfit! ;D The old barnet's grown out a bit in recent months, so now I look less like a Sontaran than...a Sontaran with hair...er...

Heh, I was just so impressed that I had a DbyA dream - even with cake! And a plot! And obviously my subconscious pays more attention than I do to things that Primsong writes. If it's any consolation, your son was very friendly and chatty and none of us held him to blame in any way for your villainy. And the cake was great. And both JJ and John had hair. In fact you both looked very alike, which is probably due to the fact that I used to muddle you up at one point, before you were both on everywhere together, making it less likely that you could be the same person. Besides John doesn't write much Doctor/Romana and JJ doesn't obsess over Zoe, but anyway... You were just watching TV. I am, I admit, slightly worried, that once I woke properly, my first real thought was: "So that was why The Time Warrior wasn't right - it was a dream!" Yes.... Oh, and noting John's comments above now: it was, I think, my joke to start with, I'm pretty sure. Being, well, egotristical or something! (And it's very Nameless. We have to keep one foot in Nameless one way or another.) And, to show, I've not given up on it yet, I really do think you should write the Victoria's wedding one. Or I might sulk. If I sulked.

And both JJ and John had hair. So far, so good. (I'm a brunet, as it happens). If I ever start claiming to be married to Zoë on the astral plane, please shoot me ;D Duly noted, but Victoria's probably going to demand time off after she's got out of my current WIP. If she gets out of it in one piece...

Heh. I think if that happened, Zoe would deal with it somehow. Or the Doctor. Or possibly Jamie and co. I'm sure your sanity is safer than mine. ;D

Last night, in the middle of a completely unrelated dream, I heard the Master's drumbeats, getting louder and louder and louder until they suddenly cut out. 'Disconcerting' doesn't begin to cover it

Last night I had a dream about Library Lover. I dreamed that she was the CEO of Pizza Hut... and also the founder of Wikipedia!?!? I do not know why I dreamed this. -- Also, not my dream, but my mother fell asleep on the couch earlier and started randomly asking for her shoes. It was very Three.

I had another Jonas Brother dream. The Young one got a cool tattoo and he was showing me this book with all this really beautiful artwork, which his tattoo was copied from. I wish I could remember them in detail.
A few weeks ago I had such a mess up dream i couldn't even write it down. One point I was floating in space, just floating, no spacesuit, nothing, it was such a relaxing, peaceful feeling. I felt great. I can see why the doctor loves space so much.

I am shocked and appalled that nobody's had a dream about me yet. Get to work *cracks whip* Now, that you mention it, I am pretty sure you were one of the people who just sat on the sofa watching DW in mine. Does taht help or do you want to be part of the plot next time? It could take a while, though...

...my mother fell asleep on the couch earlier and started randomly asking for her shoes. It was very Three. Did she also accidentally leave her keys in them? We've had people in our house pretend to do this, but there's something quite fun about it happening for real.

Not so much a WTF dream, but, last night I was listening to "The Last Voyage" audio book (which is read out by David Tennant and is very well done, my but he's good at the voice-acting)
Anyways...
I fell asleep and had him narrating my dream.
Which had nothing to do with the book.
I woke up to him saying something about seagulls in a chimney... and wondering why this was relevant to anything.
And that is my story.

seagulls in the chimney this sounds like some 1950's era superspy code, the eagle has landed, there are seagulls in the chimney
