Oh my oh my oh my - I am gobsmacked, hyperventilating, drooling with delight!
I found a guy selling a collection of *all* of Troughton's existing episodes plus slideshow reconstructs with audio of the missing bits... and his note mentioned he was selling off his entire collection one doctor at a time. (Hartnell was already gone)... that was of interest, but then I spotted his location - the town right by MINE!
I emailed him. He emailed back. He's willing to sell me EVERYTHING he has so he doesn' t have to bother with listing, shipping, etc. - oh gosh... thats *ALL* of 3, 4, 5 and 7 plus he may have some duplicates still of some of my missing ones for 1 & 2.
*faints*
A bookcase full of Who. Miiiiine!
That also means I'm going to have 40+ duplicates, which is the size of my current collection. I suppose I can do the ebay thing myself, they do seem to sell.
Just had to rave a bit. What are your collections like?

Well, hey - you're ahead of me there! :-) I have no action figures at all. Well, not Who ones... I sadly have a drawer full of LOTR figs from a phase of insanity a few years ago... should sell those too, they're almost embarrassingly geeky.

I have Doctors Three through Seven on tape from PBS. I have a smattering of 60s stories and most of the first two RTD seasons from the CBC.

I have all of Nine's run, The Christmas Invasion, and School Reunion on a quickly failing VHS tape. I don't think it will last through another round of watch and re-wind... I really must save up to buy Nine's boxset on of these days.
For Classic I've got the Beneath the Surface boxset and my brand new Curse of Fenric DVD. *huggles* It's nice when Christmas presents to self arrive... even if they are three months late.
No action figures (I'm not really the action figure type), but I've got a nice notebook with Nine scanned onto the cover and an eyewitness book which is supposedly about the entire show but is really only about Ten (it doesn't even mention that the Doctor can regenerate!) both presents from a very good friend who maybe doesn't completely understand the Who-madness, but tries very hard.
Oh, and a Suicide Bunnies poster that has Four and a Dalek on it, but that doesn't really count...

I kind of like him and I am currently making him and my Ukrainian fellow a house for them to share. I also have a book about season 2 of new who. It has each episode detailed and stuff about filming and gossip. etc. Not that great. My neighbor and I are trying to get this months magazine but the lady says it hasn't arrived yet. I will try tomorrow when she gets her weekly stock.

I have some Fours and pretty much all of Five through Seven on VHS tape, recorded off the cable channels when they were rerunning them a few years ago. Unfortunately, I do not have a working VHS player at the moment which is, shall we say, a bit of a drawback. I also have some Ones and a couple of Twos on old VHSs that I got off a friend of mine; God knows why he didn't want them any more, but see above. I need to see if I can get a cheap secondhand VCR from somewhere, because I have stacks of tapes there, not just Who but lots of stuff, that are just gathering dust at the moment.
As regards DVDs, Who is pretty expensive even for an eccentric millionaire like me (no, I'm not really, but I wish I was. I have the eccentric part down pat, though). I guess it's because you get all of the extras and commentaries etc., but I wish they'd just release some no frills season boxsets, because they'd probably retail for the same as you pay for a couple of the current releases. I've tried to be strategic in my DVD buying for this reason, getting the big, classic Three and Four stories first, and then thinking about some of the available black and white ones when I get some more money (The War Games is coming out this year, so I might save my pennies for that!). And Seven - I have all of the Seven ones which have been released - Remembrance, Fenric, Ghost Light, Survival and Battlefield, which was the last DVD I got, as a late Xmas present. Yeah, I know I already have all of them on tape, but I love McCoy.
I don't actually own any bought NuWho in any format; I have some episodes taped somewhere, but see above comment re. VHS player. They rerun it so often on one cable channel or another over here that you really only have to wait a few weeks to see any given episode you might have a hankering for. Presumably, this state of affairs will end eventually.

The only DVDs I own are The Beginning boxset, City of Death, and The Five Doctors anniversary edition. The first and last I bought because they weren't available to rent (although the The Beginning is now, I believe), City of Death is just because I love it.
I'd really like the new series on DVD...they're just so expensive though, I have trouble justifying it.

City of Death is just because I love it. I have it for the same reason! "You're a beautiful woman. Probably." Comedy gold... ;D I _want_ the E-space trilogy boxset that's just come out, but you're right, it is a lot of money...Ah, to be an eccentric millionaire...
