right then so that's my first, and please bear in mind I am still learning. I don't want to win, I am happy just to play. Also I used Romana and four because they were easy images to find. I am still hoping to be able to make use of my original idea. If I can find the images. Anyway, here go ye! Also, I got my dimensions from the rules of the site, so if they are wrong for the contest, I'm sorry, I can change it.

I love the seven icon Clocket. That would be an icon I would use on Livejournal.

I didn't notice previously because it doesn't stretch the page for me... if it's stretching the page for anyone please tell! On a different note, these are ALL so awesome. Whenever the voting happens I honestly don't know who to vote for, they're all just so GOOD! btw, Merry, how do you do that neat 3D effect around the edges of your banner/icon? For a first attempt (or any attempt!) it's pretty darn spiffy!

Seven should have kept his pink TARDIS for a while, not forever, but just for a few episodes, I would of been interesting, but like I said not forever. You can't replace the good 'ol blue box. Good show everyone. I will make one as soon as I have the time to edit a pic.

clocket, I use photoshop and you can find the bevel and emboss under the layer style pull down menu. As for the banner, thanks, I am still trying to get the hang of photobucket or the images I want so I appreciate the compliment

I dunno, I've never used GIMP, and it takes me ages to figure out what the buttons do, lol. I'm still trying to get all the nifty effects most people seem to be able to with windows movie maker, it's worse with photoshop as I must blushingly admit I haven't any instructions or the like for it so I shrug and confess I haven't a clue how to make it work well, lol.

Just explore and power every button you can and try to figure out what it did and whether or not you liked it. that's how I figured out GIMPshop anyway --- no instructions downloaded with it.
The dodge/burn tool is my favourite, and changing the levels of transparency when erasing stuff is fun. *nods*

THIS IS NOT AN ENTEY. I changed my mind but I don't want to take it down so I'll leave it here. But it's not an entry for the contest. =)

So I scratched that last one. It's not the best I can do and so it's not going to be my third entry. THIS is my third entry and I spent about an hour searching for the pictures. The banner may be a bit coppy the first time through but after that it'll go smoothly.

*mouth falls open in awe*
I can't stop watching it... it's so much awesome, so, so, much awesome... how did you even *do* that?
my only nit-pick would be that Donna flips by too fast and there's no Brig or Mickey, but given the fact that you''ve got 45 years worth of companions into under five seconds I'll let it pass.
*bows*

=) I thought about the Brig but technicaly he wasn't a companion because he never traveled with the Doctor.
I spent a bunch of time looking for pictures of all of them. Then It took a lot of editing to do all the frames. After that all I had to do was Optimize it and save it.

He might have in the books and audios, though I haven't got far enough into the spin-off media to say. He DID travel with the Doctor on TV though in the Three Doctors. *nods* So did Benton.
they are honorary companions at least for that.
this is TRUFAX

The Brig would be a bonus (I count him and Benton and Yatesy as companions, even if it's on dubious grounds - they're the UNIT family after all!), but personally, I wouldn't mess with what you have there already, Starflower - it's nothing short of magnificent, and, like Clocket, I find it to have a strangely hypnotic quality...
