Me lovez it too.
Copied from another thread 'cause I'm lazy:
I'm Clocketpatch, and that name comes from back when I didn't have a watch and used to carry a pink mini-mouse alarm clock around in my pocket... and um, since I've a tendency for malapropisms, the pink pocket alarm clock somehow became my clocketpatch, and thus my online alter-ego gained a name.
~
sadly said alarm clock is now out of order, but I really can't bring myself to chuck it. I think it just needs batteries, but it did fall out and hit the pavement pretty hard a few times...

You don't understand regeneration, Mel. It's a lottery, and I've drawn the short plank.

Wow. My name has such a lame story compared to that. Heheh... everyone should have a clocket in their pocket.

I don't blame you guys. What with all the new members we've been having lately. It can get quite screwy. (a good kind of screwy, mind you)

Polarity and Newton maybe. Clocket doesn't drink tequilas. She drinks... um...
...Reverse-the-polarity brand Rum.

Yesterday I spend a day at a big LCBO. A Liquor store, getting some training. By the end of it I really wanted a drink. I am not a drinker have only drank really out peer pressure. I now want to try ever liqour out there.

Just be careful. It's a nasty thing to get hooked to.

Agreed! The rules are: never alone, NEVER drive, never more than three (unless you aren't the one buying, but depending on who is buying you might not want any at all... O.o), and ALWAYS lots and lots of water before bedtime.
but, the fact is that the vast majority of it tastes pretty foul and is ungodly expensive.
Now, question for Newton time; when you say you were getting some training at the LCBO, do you mean tha kind of training I got wherein my friends dragged me through the shop and imparted their knowledge of all things life-choice, bad. Or the kind of training where you're actually going to work there?
though, I think I'm going to stop talking about alcohol now, because much as I tell you impressionable teenagers how uncool it is, I don't want you all running off to emmulate my bad life choices in some fit of "oh my gosh! the nerdy girl who posts in that forum is doing it! let's go be cool like Clocket!" lol
...though, I am very cool if I do say so myself.

Real training. Like how to deal with drunk people, etc. Agreed! The rules are: never alone, *Puts away Ukrainan Vodka*

As much as I dislike drinking, I'd have to say I hate smoking more. My grandmother smokes, and when I go to visit her the entire house reeks of tobacco. It's dreadful.

It's so lovely to play music in pubs now. Minnesota has this new law where smoking is illegal in eating-areas. THE FLUTISTS CAN FINALLY BREATHE! IT'S LOVELY!

We'vehad those laws in Ontario for ages. I remember before though, and how I couldn't go to restuarants as a child because even if we sat at the other end from the smoking section I'd go into coughing fits.

Nasty stuff, smoking. Even pipe smoke (which I can tolerate more than cigars and cigarettes) is nasty.
