I am currently catless, but that's only because apartments don't like animals. There are three of them back at home with my family, though.

I've started doing some small recordings for Librivox, have any of you done this? I had to get a headset with a mic, the hand mic I had was too noisy. Their goal is to record audio of everything in the public domain by volunteers so it's free for anyone to listen to as well. Love it.
All I've done is a couple poems and a fairy tale so far, but this is cool... harder to make it come out right than I thought, which greatly increases my respect for the folks recording the Big Finish and other audio books.

That's great, primsong. I'd just like to say thanks on behalf of all people in my position. A lot of valuable material is in the public domain? Some really surprising things probably.
I just started on my Analog magazines on tape... I'm five years behind.

Music: Country. I will listen to anything really but country is my favorite. Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Taylor Swift, etc.
TV: One Tree Hill, Being Human, My Family, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Hell's Kitchen, Big Brother, Survivor, and much more. There is too big a list to name.
Movies: Anything Horror, EXCEPT: Nightmare of Elm Street, Halloween (unless by Rob Zombie), Friday the 13th and Saw. I hate those movies. I love any movie with Zombies in it. Princess Diaries, Time Traveler's Wife (I hope), Twilight (sort of), Harry Potter series, Movies based on a true story like: Remember the Titans, Titanic, etc. Anything with Patrick Swayze, Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Samuel L. Jackson, Jensen Ackles, or Eliza Dushku.
Books: The Time Traveler's Wife, A Certain Slaint of Light, Harry Potter series, Anything Horror or Romance.
General: Writing. I love writing. That is what keeps me going. Coffee and Tea, love them both. I love to play the card game of Magic. After like a month of playing, I finally beat my brother's new deck that he made. Watching tv and movies and hanging out on the computer.

yes I know, sometimes i like to watch those fake ones too. Maybe because when i was a kid i used to watch those fake ghost hunting shows and be scared shitless. I believed anything and everything I was told when I was a kid. Still do at times. I am no naive.

In terms of books, I'vealso read the Hitchiker's Guide 5-part trilogy, but more recently I've been recently reading George Orwell's 1984. While interesting and thought-provoking, it is quite possibly the most depressing thing I've read in quite a while. Gives me more reason to come here - so that I don't feel depressed all week round. Anyway, on a more positive note, TV wise, I have just fallen hopelessly in love with Flight of the Conchords. It is now my second favourite show, and I probably don't need to tell you what my first favourite is.
