Hullo all I'm Merry, well, MerrytheMad, but mad as in mental not angry. I've been a whovian since I watched the fourth Doctor on PBS as a small girl (even if jellybabies were lost in translation leaving me horrified as to what he may be eating). I've got four kids and am a full time college student as well, so that makes things a bit harried but such is life. I write a bit of fanfiction on another site and I make fanvids for youtube. Feel free to ask me about them, though the stories aren't great yet, only drabbles leading up to a real story lol. The vids are coming along but still I could use practice. I'm late to the whole internet thing as my wild youth led directly into motherhood which led to divorce and schooling. At any rate that's me in thirty seconds.

Jeez. Hard times. *hugs* Well, as it says on the tag, my name is Aldebaran. People around me tend to call me "Aldy", so either one is acceptable. I'm a fourvian. Although I didn't grow up with him, I watched alot of him via VHS tapes and youtube. Four is 17 feet of AWESOME. Though, I also like Ten, Six and Five, but I don't really DISLIKE any doctor. My favorite companions are Captain Jack, Donna, Leela, and K9. As for me, I'm 15 years old, alive and kicking. I'm a musician, and I play all sort s of genres, but specifically Irish Trad. I play a grand total of 15 instruments, which I won't bother to list unless you're REALLY interested. I have a dark and offbeat sense of humor, so you can throw jokes at me. I can take 'em. (Magnus and I work that way.) But I also have a kindness streak, so you can always talk to me if you need someone to talk to. I hope you enjoy the site. It's wonderful here.

Hello Merry. I'll do a real hello next time; bad health day and it's distracting. I started watchging circa 1980, was in active fandom 1987-?, I'm still in the Milwaukee Time Lords. I'm in fan video parodies but I should stop saying that since I don't like people looking at them. I'm much more pleased with print parodies I wrote myself but those aren't online. drawings too.
I'm big on Dr's Four then Three then Five, then the rest. Favorite companions Leela then Sarah then Jo. Glad to have you here.

I am Newton. I am The Master of this place. I am trying to take over this forum. I love Benton. I believe JJpor is the David Tennant of DBA. I like to karma people. I hate homework but I have too much of it.

Oh, lol, yes, my fave docs are probably four (I know but how can you forget your first?) then five and ten, I know, nobody likes him, but I find him to be a good Doctor, in spite of the awkward bundle of screaming fainting men and women following behind him. Companions, gosh, I dunno. I like Sarah Jane, I liked Jo, I love Donna. Not so big on Rose, though not because I think the Doctor cannot fall in love, as so many seem to. I just think she was great in the first season and then did nothing but get captured there-after. I'm really excited to explore this wonderful little whovian-hideaway!

Ten is my second-favorite... because I think he's hysterical. And there IS a difference between Ten fans and TENNANT fans. lol. A BIG difference. Have fun! We're glad to have ya. ;D

Hi there Merry - welcome to the boards! I'm jjpor - people occasionally ask what that means or what it stands for, or how you pronounce it, but really it's just *kind of* my real-life initials and, like the Doctor's real name, is unpronounceable I started watching Who as a small child in the 80s - Davison, then Colin Baker, then McCoy. I'll own up to being a bigtime Seven fan, maybe because by then I was old enough to really understand the ins and outs of the stories and characters and appreciate it on a deeper level than just kewl monsters. I discovered Four and earlier Doctors a little bit later, and fell in love with them too. Four may be my second favourite, followed by Two - I have a reputation as a Five-hater, which I mainly brought upon myself, but which isn't really true ;D I am occasionally critical of the new series, but I suspect that's largely a defensive posture to avoid admitting that I love it really... As far as companions go, if I was pushed I'd have to pick Ace, followed by the usual suspects; Romana, Sarah Jane, Leela, Liz Shaw. Donna I started off not really wanting to like, but I'll admit she grew on me as time went on. I agree about Rose - good in her first season, a little embarrassing in her second. Just to clear up another thing - don't believe Newton - I'm NOT David Tennant (if only...) Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here and find this a nice little community to hang out in from time to time - I know I have. Some very good people here, very welcoming and willing to kid around. I love it.

I am the classic Dr Who character who sucks up to the aliens who are obviously going to take over the Earth, it's only a matter of time, and maybe if I'm really good and weaselly and useful to them, they'll put me in total charge of Earth when they leave to conquer other places, and then when they're gone I'll take over. So... I'm Newton's right hand man. All hail Newton, lord of the board.
Never mind that the Doctor's going to have to take pity on me later, and bail me out of all this when I see it's all going horribly, horribly wrong, no matter how much I don't deserve any help....

Hello and welcome! I'm Kit, your Friendly Neighbourhood Admin.
I started out adoring Eight, then went to Four and now I'm favouring Three. But I really do love all of the Doctors. As for companions, I like the seventies companions: Jo, Sarah, Harry, Leela. And then Donna is thrown in there for good measure.
Aside from Who stuff, I volunteer at the San Diego Maritime Museum and love nautical things. Though I have a bit of a grudge against pirates. I'm an obsessive Royal Navy during the Age of Sail fan.
Anyway, welcome again! =D

I'm a good time lord. I don't fall for your little tricks. Besides, everyone knows that the entire cosmos is going to go to the bacteria anyway, so why bother?

We should totally have an 'RP' (THAT ISN'T REALLY AN RP, SAME RESTRICTIONS APPLY) in which Newton is all Master-like and we have to defeat her or some such nonsense. And we can throw in some Who characters. And we can PM each other and form secret alliances and such. I can make a thread in Off-Topic so we don't completely kill the C-box (and all can participate). Yea or Nay?
(Oh, look! I'm completely off topic!)

I have no idea what a "C-Box" is and I generally prefer my nonsense unrestricted, and I've avoided role-playing games my whole life and if presented with one, would probably not take part, but maybe that's just me. I just say stuff. I don't really organize the stuff I say an awful lot. That's probably one reason I'm a Who fan. I am nourished by chaos.

Greetings!
I be Clocket, the pied-piper of DbyA (but not the creepy Sarah-Jane Adventures Pied Piper *shudders*) For some reason I have a knack for attracting people over here. I think it's my boundless charisma, charm, and generally lovable nature *preens in a way which is not all narcissistic or egomanical*
anyway... O.o
My teaspoon thingy says it all really. Well, mostly. The vital stats are:
20, going on 21 (yikes!) university student, taking anthropology with an emphasis in archaeology. My first Doctor was Nine and I love him to death. Then I happened to stumble into youtube back when the online Who Archive was still intact and went on a mad Doctor-watching rampage (oh the dangers of being exposed to highspeed...)
Three is currently my favourite Doctor because UNIT is just awesome win. Benton is my teddy bear, and the Brigadier is... well, his fake mustache makes my life better. Also, Three has a cape, and a really cool car.
Though, I'll glee over any of the Doctors. I tend to be a bit harsh on Ten occasionally, especially when he starts doing that angst thing. That's just annoying. But I love him really. *hugs Ten* see?
And Donna, I really love Donna, because she is Romana don't you know? *shifty eyes*

The Cbox is the chat box at the bottom of the page. And I'm not going into this again, see the thread in the Announcements section. Or I could have moved it to Archives. I'm not sure.
