Poor Eight has no love in his thread. So this is a pity post for him. Eight actually has lots of great things going for him, such as floofy hair a VERY nice voice. We don't even mind that he's short. Heh heh.
Just wondering, did anyone hear all of his BBC7 adventures? Because I only caught the last two. How did Lucy end up in the TARDIS? And does anyone know if they're going to be a second season?
On a randon side note there's a scary ad at the top of the page asking me to buy a home colon cleansing kit. I am quite disturbed.

Eight has a thread! ^^ I was going to put something up for poor Eight, but I couldn't think this week due to my brain exploding.
Eight is awesome. I <3 Eight. I wish I could hear the audio adventures.
And Eight has a period costume. I want the fancy waistcoat. And the silk cravat.

Mmm, pickles. Those ads are quite scary though. Right now it's assuming I want to go date local married women. I don't even want to start on how many things are wrong with that assumption. Back on topic. You know who else has a waistcoat and cravat? Three, the most awesomest Doctor Evah! (Three for the win)

^^ Yes, Three is made of awesome.
For me the ads think I want 19th century dry goods. Usually I would want anything from the 19th century, but I'm not sure...

He's short?
Yes I listened to all of 'em and I ordered the CD's. Lucy appeared out of nowhere in the TARDIS in the first episode.

Six has a waistcoat and cravat (of sorts) too! Just goes to show how similiar the past Docs costumes have been even though they look completely different.
Just thought of a new thread about costumes.... Hmmm.....!

The second series of the BBC7 Eighth Doctor stories were originally expected to be starting sometime in January (hey, that's this month!) - looking forward to them despite the flaws in the first series!
However, there's a bit of a thing going on wherein Big Finish is involved, and then it isn't, and then people start quoting Nick Briggs on OG and things get too complicated for my little brain to process. There is a second series in theory, anyway, and I believe some synopses have appeared on the Big Finish website at some point.

The ad's for renaissance costumes now. Put all these different items together, colon cleaning, married women, etc., and what kind of party would we have, I wonder?
Someone sent me some radio McGann stories. I'm poised to begin listening to them. I finished Dr 8s first CD 'season'/'series' recently. Two I liked, two I didn't.
He does have a good voice for these CD stories. Davison and Colin don't sound like themselves anymore. I think Peter must have smoked, and Colin can't do his Dr 6 voice anymore.

As to audios, I've decided that I have a love affair with Eight's voice... and Three's, and Four's... but yeah, I really, really like Eight's voice.
Davison really can't pull off the voice. I've only listened to a few of his stories, but I really couldn't get into them. Colin I'll forgive because the plots were just so good, and his regeneration in the show was sketchy enough that I can pretend he got old first. I like McCoy's audios.

I'll admit I love 8's voice, but I really get into the detailed plots of 5. I should share some of the Nyssa and Five stories with you. They're really good! Because no one mentioned it, Three has a period costume too, and a cravat, and a cape which pwns all. Aich, cuts me a break? I lives so far away from any kind of convention my chances of ever meeting anyone are precisely nil. Thus the jealous.
That said... I'm not sure I'd actually want to meet the actors. I mean... it's the characters I'm obsession with not them. It would probably be rather odd.
Maybe the writers... I like talking to writers...

Okay, okay. Fair answer. You know it's funny that you're so busy that you can't chat, but you have enough time to keep up with my comments. I have a suspicion... but I figure you, like me, are looking for a distraction from the pressing academic assignments. Or is it more something else? Aich, cuts me a break? This would be what we call a distraction from academic engagements. In basic - I finish a page and then pop up here to maintain my sanity, and then run back to my work (unless I get distracted) Alas! I am easily distracted. I've managed to write 8.5 page though. So... 1.5 to go and then onto the next essay... blah.
