www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNKeEn0jyP4&NR=1Um... I warn for lotsof swearing. I honestly don't know what this is, but it's funny as anything. Only Tom can swear this much yet still somehow sound completely proper... and then he randomly starts singing towards the end. "The word is repairability!" LOL

Not the rest of him though... he's too darn creepy for that, but the voice... yessssssss.... the voice.......

Creepy? I prefer to address it as a sad case of tainted childhood. The poor man was beaten by his mother... back in the days before penicillin, and his grandmother believed monkeys could talk. How was he supposed to turn out? Well... I talk to trees, for example. Do you think that I'm creepy? Yeah... okay. Tom's creepy. I give.

Still luv him, though. ;D Oh for sure. I'm a bit creepy myself actually. Well... I used to bite people quite a bit as a child X|=| (that's supposed to be me with fangs if you can't figure it out)

Yeah, Tom gives good bloopers, even though his language is disgraceful ;D - my personal favourite is the one where he tells K-9 "You never ----ing know anything when it's important!"

There's another one out there as well.
"...huge enough to dematerialize an entire planet, flip it halfway across the galaxy, rematerialize it... through... AW **** IT!"

"...huge enough to dematerialize an entire planet, flip it halfway across the galaxy, rematerialize it... through... AW **** IT!" Yes, I like that one as well. Another good one, although it's not really a blooper, is the little scene with Baker and John Cleese, made at the time of City of Death; a little bit of comedy gold.

I may watch that again. xD

What I wouldn't give for video of Tom yelling and swearing at script writers like Chris Boucher at script read-throughs and throwing the scripts at them.

What I wouldn't give for video of Tom yelling and swearing at script writers like Chris Boucher at script read-throughs and throwing the scripts at them. Indeed. Oh to see TB go absolutely ape-sh*t. Though.... I don't know. Do you think he's to classy for that sort of thing?

Though.... I don't know. Do you think he's to classy for that sort of thing? Tom did have a bit of a reputation for being, er, difficult to work with, as they say in the business. If you get my drift.

Apparently not! It happened! No, Magnus, I mean absolutely, hellish, banshee-like, knives-hitting-the-walls, ape-sh*t. Like... 6 dead, 115 injured ape-sh*t. Yeah... difficult to work with... moody... I think that, in his defense, he had an issue with people telling him what to do ALL THE TIME. And the simple matter of the cumbersome bureaucracy/hesitant teamwork of producing a television show, and a popular one at that, would jeopardize anyone's tolerability. Especially an artist like Tom, who's creativity is ignored in such a setting. I think most people would get touchy. Also, Tom, being the popular figure that he was (and still is in some circles), had 100 different arms pulling him 100 different ways all telling him at once 100 different things to say or do. I mean... I'd throw a wobbly now and again. And then there's the whole attitude factor. Perhaps Tom's thinking was, "Well, if they're going to mess around with me and piss me off like this, I think I'll push back harder. After all, they can't afford to lose me, and don't really want to. I'll push them as far as they can go, just because I can." Impatience, vanity, and needing attention. Throw them in a soup of business hierarchy and boil it under stress, your result is "wobbly". But he IS good with kids, and I think meeting people who loved and cared about him via his role as the doctor did reconcile many of his attitude problems in the end... perhaps the cliché term, "all he wanted was to be loved" is appropriate. Then again... maybe not. ...sorry. I take my psychology classes too seriously.
