But Ace is Ace! One of the best companions of them all! I want to be Ace!
Ace is... omgosh! She has nitro9! She beats up Daleks with baseball bats --- and wins! She blew up her highschool artroom as an artistic act (which none of her teachers understood, alas). And... other stuff.
Hmmm, I recomend you watch Rememberance of the Daleks, Greatest Show in the Galaxy, Ghostlight (even if it doesn't make sense), Curse of Fennric, and Survival to get insight into the awesomeness which is Ace. They're all on DVD (and I can probably get you links to... 2 or 3 of them? if you aren't a crazy mean person who reports things on yt)
Actually... I'm going to go an recommend Battlefield too, just 'cause it's coming out and has the BRig and...
Damn, as time goes on I realise more and more what a nerd i have become. lol. T'is a good thing.

Oh no, I'm not one of those mean types at all.....in fact, I fully indulge myself in all of the videos like that that people post. If you could give me the links I would be eternally grateful. You have me very interested in Ace now!

Damn, as time goes on I realise more and more what a nerd i have become. lol. T'is a good thing. Embrace your inner nerd! I find it hard to put my admiration for Ace into words; Ace and Seven will always be "my" companion and Doctor combo. It helps that I was ten or eleven years old at the time, and Ace genuinely did seem like the coolest person on television to my young eyes. That's not to say that she doesn't still seem that way to me now!! I'd recommend any and all of the stories clocket mentions to anyone; as for Ghost Light not making sense, it is, as I keep trying to tell people, part of the charm. It is, in any case, an excellent Seven and Ace story; Sylv and Sophie at the top of their game.

Alas, Ghostlight (and Curse of Fenric) are two stories which the yt archivers refuse to put up because the Beeb has them as auto take-down. Which leaves me very much wanting to buy them. hmmm... I must needs to await a roadtrip to Toronto for that.

I got Martha for the first one, romana for the second one (yay!) and captain jack for the third one. I am not sure what to think of that. Captain Jack?! I don't think I act like him..... do I?
Romana is awsome!

Fenric has an extended version where the scenes have been cut differently, including changing order of scenes in some cases, with the music redone. This is different from the extended version from a few years earlier, where they just added in a very short bit of extra footage but made no other changes. Supposedly this newest version makes a lot more sense. I'm saying this for anyone thinking of buying CofF. I have it on tape but since all Sylvesters are unclear to me, I'm not sure about its being better.
I remember that some music was changed because they wrote cliffhanger-type music because a cliffhanger had to come at that point in the story, but the actual scenes weren't very cliffhanger-y, so the original music didn't make too much sense. This version is in uninterrupted "movie" form, so they could fix this.
Which companion am I? Most are women and the males aren't all that impressive usually, so let's say a combination of Tomas and Calib from Face of Evil. That's probably more what I'd like to be than what I am, of course. Decent but with a devious streak.

Dang. I can't take the Classic Who test because I have to regester on it. I hate tests that makes you regester AFTER you've filled it out.

Really? I didn't have to register, and I'm pretty sure no one else here had to... Maybe they've changed since we took it?

I got tiered of it wanting me to sign up. So I signed up under a fake name(Anna Jones), Fake location (London), and Fake email(timeladygallifrey353@yahoo.com)
Always works. =D
I"m Sarah Jane. Not what I expected but I can see it.
You are Sarah Jane. You are clever without being arrogant, adventurous without being impatient, and resourceful while still being naive enough to want to stick around with the old geezer. If The Doctor had favorites, you'd be it. Actually, he does have favorites - and you're it. You and The Doctor have formed a fast companionship. You've far outlasted most of his other companions, though The Doctor would probably never admit it. Still, though, you could do without some of The Doctor's stand-offish-ness and the roughness of constantly fighting monsters. Maybe one of these days, you can put that journalism degree to use, and start having adventures of your own...
Well I don't think Three is an old geezer as this little quiz says and I am, at times, arrogant without meaning to be.

I think it's talking about the Doctor in general as an old geezer which he is, really. Well... old, anyways. The geezer quota changes rom regeneration to regeneration.

Three is anything but a geezer.
I ended up as Romana II - I don't know what I expected, but I'm okay with that. :-)

Rose, K-9, Jack. I'm not really sure how to take to these, but it was interesting.

Pertwee was 50 when he started by the way, though he did look much older.

seems I didn't post these before. martha, romana, romana2. I'll take those, I think, even if Martha does wear a bit self-righteous for a woman who took off with an alien cos he was cute. oooh and the Romana's wait again self-righteous, hmmm, is the universe trying to tell me something here?

Rose, Romana, and *sigh* Adric. Seeing as I am a bit of a know-it-all, Rose doesn't really fit.

So I took it again and got:
You are Romana I. Smart and feisty, you can take care of yourself in most dangerous situations, and perhaps provide some wit to boot. Yet you are not one to dote on the Doctor or hang on his every word, since you're smart enough to know that at least some of his words are wrong. You're also not fond of doing The Doctor's dirty work for him. Given time and patience, The Doctor may eventually grow to enjoy your company. In the meantime, however, he'll probably just be annoyed that you continually contradict him and refuse to do things his way.
I think my companion changes based on my mood. Mostly I think I'm likely to be quite taken with the Doctor, though according to this I'd be my own woman who.....knows he's wrong a good part of the time. Lol, fine by me. I liked Romana 1.
