Hello Whoaholics.
A bio? Well... I'll do my best.
My story is a short and simple one.
Once upon a time, I was surfing the web in search of fellow who-addicts such as myself, and I came across a site known as "Doctor When", an Rp site. I tried it out for a few months and enjoyed it overall buuuuuttttt....
I grew sick of serious RPing. Too many rules. love writing, but I hate being serious about what I write, and having to be cornered into various guidelines, restrictions and all that jazz. Isn't the whole point of being a time-traveler to be free? Away from rules, and chains and limits? Well... there ARE a few restrictions just to keep chaos from developing in the fabric of time, but that's not the point in the larger scheme of things.
The point I'm trying to make is... THIS IS THE SITE I WAS LOOKING FOR! After my site failed... which was very similar to this one... I flocked back to "Doctor When" with no place to go, and I relapsed into the woeful unnecessary drama of serious RPing. "No breaking the fourth wall!" they told me, and "No questioning how we run things around here!" they told me. "Just sit down, shut up, and write your RP."
I'm a rebel and somewhat of an anarchist. I always have been. And one of the reasons I took up writing in the first place is to express myself without the laws of physics getting in the way. Anything you bother to write down becomes your world. If you write that fish are purple and can fly, then dammit, fish are purple and can fly in your world. That's what I found so appealing about creative writing in the first place. You AREN'T caged in.
And it's for the same reasons I grew to like Doctor Who in the first place. In a TARDIS, you aren't caged in either. The ends of existence and beyond are your limits. Time Lords are a symbol of personal freedom for me.
But I didn't come here to bash formal RPing. Some people like that sort of thing, and more power to 'em.
I came here to hang out and meet other whoaholics, talk about life, the universe and pie-throwing, and just bask in all the timey-wimeyness and have a good time with it.
...and if that didn't scare everyone away, then I succeeded with this thread, and I'll move on to do other things. Post fan-art. Make friends, perhaps. Hell, I'll even break the fourth wall now and again JUST BECAUSE I CAN! ANARCHY! W00t!
Life is good. That's my message. Life is good, so don't waste it fretting. Just have a good time.
THANK YOU WHOEVER MADE THIS SITE FOR CALMING MY BOILING NERVES!
*looks around, rubs neck* Oh. Um... I guess I got a little carried away then didn't I? Ohhhhhh.... well, cheerio! *walks away*
